Role description
Job Summary: Our client is seeking a strong, experienced Digital Marketing Manager to help develop and manage marketing channels to expand and grow new account relations and product sales. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for researching and evaluating new product opportunities, executing marketing strategies, managing distribution channels, and ensuring effective branded marketing communications.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Research and evaluate new product opportunities, demand for potential products, and customer needs and insights.
β’ Execute marketing strategies and plans for existing products.
β’ Work with sales and product development to determine the viability of potential markets.
β’ Manage launch campaigns for new products.
β’ Manage distribution channels for products.
β’ Ensure effective branded marketing communications across all media.
β’ Manage media and marketing staff and external PR agencies.
β’ Lead direct reports, set and monitor annual goals, and establish priorities.
β’ Become an expert in the companyβs product offerings and unique selling propositions.
β’ Understand competitive set and recommend marketing and merchandising promotions.
β’ Work with R&D on new product development.
β’ Manage end-to-end trade show processes.
β’ Utilize the company IT systems and procedures.
β’ Customer service, partnership development, and customer retention.
β’ Help manage and execute tradeshow exhibiting.
Secondary Duties:
β’ Travel to customers for sales and support roles.
β’ Periodic travel to Tradeshows and/or exhibits.
β’ Supporting the companyβs product and innovation focus.
Job Requirements:
β’ Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or engineering. Experience may substitute for a degree.
β’ Prior experience in transportation, distribution, or warehousing preferred.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM software.
β’ Strong project management and organizational skills.
β’ Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Self-motivated with the ability to drive projects.
β’ Ability to travel up to 20% of the time and lift up to 45 lbs.
