Role description
Our client is a fast-growing financial publishing company specializing in webinars and direct response marketing. As the business continues to expand, they are seeking a Marketing Specialist / Brand Manager to oversee and grow the brands of industry leaders. This role is ideal for a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who thrives on project management, campaign execution, and maximizing monetization opportunities. The selected candidate will manage live webinars, optimize marketing funnels, and drive revenue growth across multiple channels. What YOU get to DO at this innovative company: • Own the end-to-end execution of live webinars—including scheduling, copywriting for email/SMS invitations, coordinating broadcasts, and tracking KPIs. • Launch and manage marketing campaigns tied to guru alerts, market events, and trading wins. • Collaborate cross-functionally with publishing, broadcast, editorial, design, and operations teams to ensure flawless campaign delivery. • Spot opportunities to drive additional revenue by acting quickly on market trends and trade alerts. • Write or generate compelling short-form copy (emails, SMS, invites) that aligns with the gurus’ voices and drives conversions. • Optimize carts, funnels, and checkout flows to maximize lead monetization and conversions. • Run upgrade campaigns for current members, leveraging momentum to increase retention and revenue. • Maintain organized project documentation, brand performance metrics, and reporting dashboards. What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role: • Prior experience in direct response marketing (financial publishing, e-commerce, telehealth, or lead generation preferred). • Proven track record in email/SMS marketing execution, funnel optimization, and performance reporting. • Strong project management skills—organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven. • Ability to identify and capitalize on monetization opportunities without constant direction. • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt copy to established brand voices. • Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, webinar platforms, Iterable/Maropost, SMS platforms, and ChatGPT. • Professional, collaborative communicator who can keep stakeholders informed while moving quickly. • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where ownership and initiative are highly valued. What’s in it for YOU? • A high-impact role at the center of a dynamic financial publishing business. • Performance-based incentive compensation tied to KPIs, with significant upside potential. • Access to extensive trading education resources. • The opportunity to own brand execution, optimize marketing systems, and directly influence revenue growth. • Flexibility to work remotely, with preference for candidates in Austin or nearby for occasional collaboration. • A company culture that values speed, resourcefulness, and entrepreneurial drive.
