Role description
Job Overview:
Manage the planning and execution of supplier marketing and advertising strategies including digital, social, and print media campaigns in support of e-commerce operations.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
β’ Works closely with Sales & Service, Professional Services and Ad Group Manager in the preparation and presentation of digital marketing program proposals.
β’ Manages relationship with external solution providers on the creation and servicing of B2C programs.
β’ Assists and directs the creation of content in support social media programs calendars, website topics, email newsletters, sales collateral, etc.
β’ Support Digital Shopper Marketing Manager to execute all supplier digital marketing campaigns
β’ Work with supplier partners to develop and execute digital brand marketing campaigns, promotions, contests and sweepstakes along with creative development.
β’ Create and present briefs outlining campaign details to share with the creative team and project manager
β’ Uses experience of the retail process and procedures to aid in bridging the gap between digital marketing, traditional marketing and in-store execution.
β’ Gain strong understanding of assigned accounts, their consumer segment and competitive environment. Develop and implement plans based on retailer needs.
β’ Conduct presentations on consumer marketing and advertising strategies/programs and related subjects to appropriate audiences.
β’ Ensures all marketing elements maintain consistency with the overall brand image
β’ Performs all duties and responsibilities in a legal and ethical manner and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
β’ Performs other job duties as required
Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in business, marketing, English, journalism or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience:
β’ 2+ years retail marketing/advertising experience (preferably grocery) including multi media campaigns.
Other Skills/Abilities:
β’ Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media as it relates to promoting retail stores.
β’ Possess basic knowledge of the printing business to include layout, balance, design, copy-writing, printing processes,and print distribution.
β’ Strong knowledge of advertising and sales promotion, and demonstrated ability to successfully utilize skills.
β’ Strong balance between strategic and tactical skills.
β’ Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines while working under pressure.
β’ History of applying effective problem-solving skills.
β’ Proven strong leadership, human relations, and interpersonal skills are essential
β’ Proven professional, effective verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Experienced in efficient use of a PC and Microsoft Office Products.
β’ Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/DEMANDS:
β’ Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
β’ Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
β’ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
β’ Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
