We’re looking for a Senior Paid Media Strategist to join our Paid Media Team. This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who can lead enterprise accounts, manage large budgets, and turn performance data into actionable growth strategies.
About the Role
As a Senior Paid Media Strategist at elk, you’ll lead strategy and execution for high-performing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across platforms like Google, Meta, TikTok, and more. You’ll partner closely with Account Executives, SEO Strategists, creative collaborators, and client teams to deliver performance-driven marketing strategies that drive revenue and scale.
You’ll need to be confident in client communication, collaborative across departments, and equipped to manage complex ad accounts with monthly budgets ranging from $10K to $500K+.
What You’ll Do
• Develop, manage, and scale Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across platforms (Search, Shopping, PMax, DPA, ASC+, and emerging campaign types)
• Build strategic roadmaps that align with client goals and drive measurable business impact
• Present reporting, insights, and recommendations with confidence on client calls
• Audit and restructure ad accounts for optimal performance, ROAS, and efficiency
• Write and test compelling ad copy, headlines, and creative hooks
• Collaborate with internal SEO, design, dev, and email teams to align cross-channel strategies
• Manage ad budgets ranging from $10K to $500K+ per month across multiple clients
• Oversee tracking, attribution, and performance measurement using tools like GA4 and Triple Whale
• Conduct competitive research and deliver actionable insights for campaign improvement
What You’ll Bring
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Paid Media campaigns, especially for eCommerce brands
• Proven success scaling campaigns and managing large budgets with minimal oversight
• Expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads, including PMax, Shopping, DPA, and ASC+
• Deep understanding of product feeds, catalog management, and dynamic creative
• Strong grasp of landing page CRO principles and collaboration with dev/design teams
• Exceptional communication and client-facing presentation skills
• Familiarity with analytics and attribution tools like GA4, Looker Studio, and Triple Whale
• Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, or Magento
• Comfortable using Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace
• Bonus: Experience with Microsoft Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or B2B campaigns

• Get up to speed on elk’s clients, team workflows, tools, and processes
• Audit assigned accounts and flag key opportunities or concerns
• Begin joining internal syncs and shadowing client calls with Paid Media teammates
60 Days
• Fully own strategy and execution for 3–5 client accounts
• Present insights and strategy updates directly to clients
• Collaborate cross-functionally on creative testing and CRO
90 Days
• Lead 5–8 client accounts with confidence
• Build long-term roadmaps and growth strategies tailored to each account
• Take full ownership of performance, pacing, and scaling recommendations
• Spot trends, share learnings with the team, and recommend new tactics, tools, or testing strategies
