Job Summary:
As a Merchandising Specialist, you'll be a key player in optimizing product performance and enhancing the customer experience. You'll dive deep into sales data to pinpoint top-sellers and areas for improvement, then translate those insights into engaging visual merchandising plans for our online platforms.
A core part of your role will involve developing and executing promotional strategies for seasonal events and collaborating with marketing to weave compelling product highlights into all our materials. You'll also keep a close eye on market trends and competitor activities, ensuring our offerings remain fresh and competitive. Additionally, you'll manage drop ship availability and supplier coordination, and maintain accurate product categorization and pricing in our inventory system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Performance Analysis & Strategy: Analyze sales data to identify top-performing and underperforming products, translating these insights into actionable merchandising strategies.
• New Product Recommendation & Business Case Development: Develop data-driven business cases to recommend and support the introduction of new products for manufacturing.
• Onsite Visual Merchandising: Create and implement engaging visual merchandising plans to optimize product presentation and messaging on our digital platforms.
• Promotional Planning & Execution: Develop and execute impactful promotional plans for seasonal events and key sales periods.
• Market Research & Trend Identification: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging market trends, competitive activities, and new product opportunities.
• SKU Lifecycle & Supplier Coordination: Monitor drop ship availability and coordinate directly with suppliers for efficient SKU additions, removals, and replacements Ensuring proper product categorization and pricing accuracy in the inventory system.
• Product Knowledge & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a subject matter expert, communicating essential product knowledge and merchandising best practices to sales and marketing, and collaborating to create compelling product highlights.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Data Analysis & Strategic Merchandising: You'll need a strong ability to analyze sales data to identify trends, top performers, and underperforming items, then translate those insights into effective merchandising strategies and promotional plans.
