The Job
We are recruiting a Digital Merchandising Specialist to join our Merchandising Team who are responsible for maintaining the sales pages on the easyJet website. Our aim is to get people from where they first land on the site into the booking journey as quickly and smoothly as possible. We’re a small team with big plans to deliver best in class digital experiences for our customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
Delivering our merchandising plan, to drive customer engagement and conversion.
Ensure our website is correct, up to date, and reflects commercial & industry trends.
Help customers to easily navigate around our site and find Flights they are interested in
Supporting the delivery of our personalisation roadmap and enhancements to the website to make the merchandising experience better and more tailored.
Work with the Merchandising Manager to deliver the personalisation roadmap, identifying opportunities for personalisation and implementing relevant initiatives.
How You Will Do It
You will be a specialist in Sitecore, our CMS, and support and coach the team and others in the business to help them with using this.
Identify opportunities for content and functionality improvements – managing the backlog and working with our development teams to deliver enhancements.
Plan our merchandising activity, collating input from stakeholders across the business and formulating a plan for how the websites will look each week.
Manage the partnerships roadmap for the website, including changes and enhancements to generate additional revenue for the business.
Support the team to deliver merchandising changes across the website, including the homepage and other high traffic pages.
Use Google analytics and reporting tools to evaluate the performance of the site and identify opportunities for improvement
Stay up to date with digital and industry developments and trends, actively suggesting things we can change and improve on our website.
Ensure all content produced is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, working with the content team where needed.
Coordinate multi-market promotions and campaigns to ensure a consistent approach is applied and all websites are merchandised appropriately.
What You Will Need To Do The Role
Technically you will need to be experienced in using Sitecore and Google analytics.
You will have created, edited and managed content previously with an understanding of SEO and you will ideally have HTML/CSS experience gained from your website and digital marketing knowledge,
Work wise you will enjoy working collaboratively in a team but also have the ability to work autonomously and be able to prioritise your workload.
