Role description
Our client, a notable outdoor apparel brand, is looking for a Digital Production and Merchandising Specialist to provide digital production, merchandising QA, documentation services and coordination support across multiple key workstreams.
• Duration: 8/11 -10/31
• Hours per week: 32 hours
• Rate: $35-40/hr
This role supports the Digital Commerce and Merchandising teams during a high-volume seasonal period and blends production, email merchandising, and eCommerce process documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong background in digital content production, merchandising strategy, and operational documentation. Success in this role requires the ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Digital Production and Merchandising Responsibilities:
Email Merchandising & QA:
• Curate product assortments for email campaigns aligned with marketing goals.
• Validate inventory and ensure accurate product availability.
• Execute linking strategies and QA all email content and landing pages.
• Review PLPs to ensure merchandising consistency and accuracy.
Digital Production & Web QA:
• Responsible for comprehensive oversight of all facets of production and quality assurance for web-related projects across all digital properties owned by the organization. This includes marketing campaigns, direct-to-consumer initiatives, global content marketing, activism endeavors, maintenance tasks, and seasonal merchandizing requests.
• Proof and validate web assets (images, banners, shop pages, etc.) for accuracy and functionality.
• Collaborate with the Build & Release Manager to manage deployment timelines.
• Support SEO implementation and site maintenance tasks.
eCommerce Process Documentation:
• Create and maintain documentation in ClickUp and Confluence for workflows, SOPs, and checklists.
• Document product data workflows in Salsify and operational processes in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
• Capture Excel-based tools and templates used for reporting and auditing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure documentation is accurate and accessible.
Digital Production and Merchandising Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in eCommerce operations, digital merchandising, or web production.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and content management systems (WordPress, SFCC preferred).
• Proficiency with project management and digital workflow tools such as ClickUp, Confluence, Bloomreach, and Klaviyo.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadline.
