Role description
Our eCommerce client is looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to join their team for the next 4 weeks, possible extension another 4 weeks. This role will be 40/hours a week. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the eCommerce Director on two very important initiatives for the company. This role combines strategic product management with creative visual merchandising to enhance online presence and drive business growth. Your time will be spent looking at their current websites and mobile apps to align their strategic vision, technical proficiency, and creative design to ensure the website aligns with business goals, meets user needs, and adheres to industry standards. You'll also be responsible to reviewing what they're currently merchandising online to make a plan for revising items and adding new ones for more customer traction. The ideal candidate would have a strong eCommerce background with the ability to project manage web and mobile projects as well as visual merchandising capabilities. Requirements Of The Digital Project Manager • 5+ years of experience in digital product management, web development, e-commerce visual merchandising • Strong understanding of web technologies, UX/UI design, and SEO principles • Proven track record of managing website and mobile projects from concept to launch • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Experience with e-commerce platforms; this person must have Big Commerce!! Responsibilities Of The Digital Project Manager • Review website and mobile product strategy to ensure alignment with business goals and market trends • Ensure our digital platforms are optimized for usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform website improvements and innovations • Define and prioritize website features and enhancements to the upcoming product redesign • Develop and implement online visual merchandising strategies • Execute timely updates to product listing pages, category pages, and promotional banners that align with marketing • Ensure product detail pages are accurate and up-to-date, including images, descriptions, and pricing • Maintain a prioritized and clear backlog. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget • Coordinate with IT, marketing, and 3rd party teams to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
