Talk to us about how we can best support you ! We are looking for a Digital Trading Lead to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This position is instrumental in supporting our retail banners with the execution of effective trading strategies, customer journey optimisation to enhance conversion rates, driving operational improvements and supporting our Own Exclusive Brand (OEB) teams with critical insight in the development of their product and range strategies. W hile we are able to base the successful candidate at any of our UK sites ( Paddington /Southampton/Yeovil) with an expectation of 2-3 days a week in the office , please be aware that the team meets every Tuesday at our Kingfisher Head Office in Paddington. What's the job? β€’ Utilising analytics to report and anticipate market trends and inform trading strategies. β€’ Supporting and executing analysis of promotions and campaigns, evaluating the effectiveness of different digital marketing channels and supporting demand-led budgeting. β€’ Supporting Banners and Group teams to identify online growth opportunities through product/range performance reviews and gap analysis. β€’ Supporting the research and analysis of competitors as well as benchmarking of competitor pricing strategies. β€’ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on digital priorities, ensuring unified execution of group-level strategies. β€’ Acting as the point of contact for all Group Digital trading matters, mentoring and upskilling banner digital trading teams on analytics, tools, data interpretation, and insight generation. β€’ Presenting complex data and insights through strategic storytelling to senior leadership. β€’ Managing relationships with third-party partners and supporting the Head of Ecommerce during contract renewals and new contract processes. What You'll Bring β€’ Demonstrable practical experience and expertise within a commercial environment: β€’ Onsite digital trading and optimisation (focus on traffic, conversion & AOV). β€’ BAU trading problem-solving activities, working with cross-functional teams (Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing etc). β€’ Category and range strategy development. β€’ Strong commercial and retail knowledge, with analytical skills to influence and optimise core KPI’s (sales, share of traffic, AOV, conversion) β€’ Proven experience of successful sales and profit growth activities. β€’ Experience working in a multi-national , agile and fast-paced environment with proven success of building effective ways of working between central and local teams. β€’ Exceptional commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to quickly and accurately create and understand complex business decision-making . β€’ Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with ability to develop high impact simple strategies for board room level audiences.
