About the Role
We're seeking a data-driven Digital Trading Manager to take full ownership of our digital trading performance, maximising the conversion through sophisticated digital nurturing and optimisation strategies. This role is critical to our omnichannel trading success, working hand-in-hand with our voice trading capabilities to ensure seamless customer acquisition and lead conversion across all channels. You'll be responsible for the digital trading, transforming qualified traffic from our exclusive partnerships into customers through strategic email marketing, targeted retargeting, and relentless optimisation of our digital conversion funnels.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Trading Ownership
• Take full ownership of digital trading performance, revenue targets, and conversion metrics
• Develop and execute digital trading strategies that complement and enhance our voice trading operations
• Monitor and optimise digital trading P&L, ensuring cost-effective customer acquisition
• Create seamless handoffs between digital and voice channels to maximise overall trading performance
• Establish digital trading KPIs and reporting frameworks aligned with broader business objectives
• Identify opportunities to shift or support voice interactions through digital channels for improved efficiency
Lead Conversion & Funnel Optimisation
• Own end-to-end optimisation of partner lead conversion funnels across digital touch points
• Analyse partner traffic quality, behaviour patterns, and conversion paths to identify optimisation opportunities
• Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests across landing pages, forms, and conversion flows
• Develop partner-specific conversion strategies based on lead source characteristics and performance data
• Create and maintain dashboards tracking partner lead performance, digital trading metrics, and ROI
• Implement lead scoring and qualification systems to route leads effectively between digital and voice channels
Email Marketing & Lead Nurturing
• Develop and execute sophisticated email nurturing campaigns that drive digital trading outcomes
• Build automated email workflows that guide leads through the conversion journey or to voice trading when appropriate
• Create targeted drip campaigns that address specific barriers to conversion
• Optimise email cadence, messaging, and personalisation to maximise lead-to-customer conversion
• Design campaigns that support both pure digital conversion and digital-to-voice handoff scenarios
• Manage email deliverability, list hygiene, and compliance with data protection regulations
Retargeting & Lead Recovery
• Design and manage retargeting campaigns specifically focused on unconverted partner leads
• Create segmented retargeting audiences based on funnel drop-off points and channel preferences
• Develop sequential messaging strategies that drive leads to most appropriate conversion channel (digital or voice)
• Optimise retargeting creative and messaging to complement both digital and voice trading efforts
• Implement cross-channel retargeting strategies that support overall trading objectives
• Monitor and optimise retargeting spend to ensure positive ROI on partner traffic
Digital Lead Flow & Trading Integration
• Map and optimise the complete digital journey for partner-originated leads
• Design digital experiences that complement voice trading, creating cohesive customer journeys
• Implement intelligent routing logic to direct leads to optimal conversion channel based on behaviour and profile
• Optimise form design, field requirements, and multi-step processes for maximum completion
• Develop digital self-service options that reduce load on voice trading while maintaining conversion rates
• Create urgency and incentive strategies tailored to drive immediate digital trading outcomes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with voice trading team to ensure alignment between digital and voice conversion strategies
• Work with UX team to optimise digital experiences based on trading performance data
• Collaborate with development team to implement tracking, testing tools, and technical requirements
• Coordinate with partnership team to understand lead source characteristics and optimise trading outcomes
• Provide regular insights to stakeholders on digital trading performance versus voice channels
• Support broader trading team with digital insights and optimisation recommendations
Performance Analysis & Reporting
• Establish comprehensive KPIs for digital trading performance and channel contribution
• Analyse digital trading metrics alongside voice performance for holistic optimisation
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on conversion funnel performance by partner source and channel
• Calculate and optimise customer acquisition costs (CAC) across digital trading activities
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve overall trading performance
• Monitor competitive landscape for digital trading best practices and innovations
Required Qualifications
Experience & Expertise
• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with strong focus on lead conversion and trading performance
• Proven track record of owning and improving digital trading or e-commerce conversion metrics
• Experience working in omnichannel environments where digital and voice/phone channels work together
• Extensive hands-on experience with email marketing automation and nurturing campaigns
• Demonstrated success with retargeting campaigns focused on lead conversion
• Experience working with partner or affiliate traffic preferred
• Strong analytical background with P&L responsibility or revenue ownership
Technical Skills
• Expert-level proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Klaviyo, Braze)
• Advanced knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and optimisation
• Proficiency with Google Analytics, GTM, and conversion tracking setup
• Experience with A/B testing platforms (Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize)
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis and reporting
