Summary The Director of Digital Analytics will play a pivotal role in transforming data analytics into actionable insights that are vital for the eCommerce team’s success. This strategic position aims to cultivate a data-driven culture throughout the organization, aligning analytics with key business objectives and facilitating informed decision-making. The individual in this role will act as a catalyst for fostering an analytics-focused environment, collaborating with diverse teams to integrate data seamlessly into everyday operations. Requirements (Must Have): β€’ 8+ years of professional experience with web analytics platforms, either Google Analytics (GA4) or Adobe Analytics, including expertise in design of tag deployment and setup β€’ 3+ years of experience at a Sr Manager or higher title, responsible for overseeing 2+ direct reports β€’ Must have strong SQL and/or Python skills for querying, manipulating, and wrangling large messy data sets β€’ Ability to understand and translate digital performance (conversion rates, traffic, etc.) into actionable business recommendations in a proactive manner β€’ Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau. Preferred Requirements: β€’ Familiarity with privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, along with knowledge of consent management frameworks. β€’ Strong understanding of marketing attribution models, including first, last, and data-driven methodologies. β€’ Experience in B2B Ecommerce or MRO organization. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Serve as the principal advocate for data and analytics, nurturing a culture that emphasizes data-driven insights across all organizational levels. β€’ Collaborate with various teams to ensure analytics is woven into the fabric of business decision-making. β€’ Act as the primary analytics contact for eCommerce and marketing, providing profound insights for improved performance. β€’ Develop and implement analytics strategies that are in harmony with the company’s goals, enhancing operational efficiency. β€’ Engage closely with data engineering teams to clarify requirements and resolve any data flow challenges. β€’ Create a comprehensive reporting framework that accurately reflects key performance metrics, enhancing performance assessment capabilities. β€’ Formulate a strategic development roadmap for the analytics division, focusing on skill development and key performance indicators. β€’ Identify areas of inefficiency and generate valuable insights that guide organizational health and future opportunities. β€’ Integrate industry best practices related to key performance indicators and reporting processes, while ensuring alignment with the latest advancements in eCommerce analytics.
