Job Summary:
Hut 8 is a leading company focused on building and operating data centers for next-generation computing workloads. They are seeking a Director of E-Commerce to lead the launch and growth of American Bitcoin’s e-commerce platform, overseeing strategy, financial models, and product development.
Responsibilities:
• Define, launch, and scale ABTC's consumer retail platform from the ground up
• Build and own financial models to forecast, manage, and deliver against revenue and margin KPIs
• Shape go-to-market strategy and execution product drops, partnerships, launch timing, channel selection, and pricing
• Collaborate with creative, design, and marketing partners to develop culturally resonant, high-quality products
• Stand up operations, including a robust e-commerce stack, logistics, inventory systems, and post-purchase experience
• Recruit and manage key hires, contractors, and partners across growth, merchandising, and customer experience
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• 6+ years of professional experience in consumer, e-commerce, and/or digitally native brand environments.
• Experience launching and scaling a direct-to-consumer or consumer-facing brand.
• Ability to own and manage a P&L with fluency in financial modeling and unit economics.
• A track record of building operational infrastructure from scratch across e-commerce, fulfillment, and customer experience.
• A deep understanding of digital growth levers such as CAC, LTV, conversion, AOV, and retention.
• A natural instinct for brand, culture, craft, and product-market resonance.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
• Resourceful, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
