Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Director of e-Commerce on behalf of one of the world's leading casual dining restaurant companies with over 1600 global restaurants. The Director of e-Commerce and Engineering drives the development and optimization of e-commerce platforms for Chilis and Maggianos focusing on delivering a seamless guest experience and revenue growth. Your Key Job Functions • Lead, mentor, and grow a high performing team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative and results oriented culture. • Develop and execute the ecommerce, loyalty, and CRM platform strategy • Oversee the technical design and development of the ecommerce platforming, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security to handle high volume traffic. • Collaborate with product management to define technical requirements and delivery dates for new features and enhancements • Ensure best practices in software development, including code quality, testing and deployment processes. • Define performance metrics and success criteria for ecommerce engineering projects, ensuring high quality deliverables and efficient team operation. Skills And Requirements • 10+ years of experience in Software Development, with a strong technical foundation in Node.js, React, React Native, CI/CD • 5+ years of experience leading software teams, with a proven track record of meeting commitments and delivering high quality software. • Experience within a Director level role • Experience writing eCommerce for retailer or restaurant company • Extensive experience in building and scaling ecommerce platforms • Experience with agile development methodologies • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering or similar field • Experience with cloud computing services - AWS and GCP • Experience working collaboratively with Product Teams Exceptional interpersonal, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels • Familiarity with restaurant technology • Loyalty platform experience • Experience with budgets and/or company financials; completing audits on projects to understand bandwidth and capabilities null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
