DIRECTOR OF ECOMMERCE
ABOUT ETHIKA:
Ethika is a leading lifestyle brand based in San Clemente, CA. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Ecommerce supports Ethika’s robust and growing ecommerce plan and platform by optimizing site engagement, increasing conversion rates, AOV and revenue and delivering operational excellence. The Director of Ecommerce will be responsible for developing go-to-market plans for various Ethika products that are tailored to maximize revenue and margin.
The ideal candidate will be highly-detailed and organized, able to manage a robust ecommerce plan and platform and complete other administrative tasks as requested by internal clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute on multi-tiered ecommerce strategies that deliver a first-class experience for Ethika customers
• Plan and execute high-impact product launches in the channel, as well as efficient end of life and rollover transitions
• Provide leadership and direction for the ecommerce team that handles admin, planning and marketing support
• Develop and implement promotion plans and strategies based on sales and market data analysis
• Create and implement strategic sales programs and marketing plans that drive growth and market share by product lifecycle
• Manage a large daily volume of projects; estimate time required and resources needed for successful project completion and communicate these needs effectively to the VP of Ecommerce and ecommerce team
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience building and leading high-performing e-commerce development teams in a fast-growing organization.
• Demonstrable expertise with delivering outstanding digital consumer experiences, with frequent release cycles, which directly impact a company meeting its business goals.
• Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into eCommerce projects.
• Highly entrepreneurial with extensive knowledge of the components of a profitable ecommerce business, including digital marketing, site experience, analytics, customer insights, content, sit merchandising and customer journey
• Provide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practices.
• Strong background and experience in creating and managing Excel workbooks
• Proficiency in the Adobe Suite and Google analytics
· Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills, as well as an attention to detail
· Self-starter
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
