Director of Marketing, Digital
Overview
As a key leader within the β47 Brand Marketing & Ecommerce teams, the Director of Marketing reports directly to the VP of Marketing and is responsible for three critical aspects of our business. This person will lead Performance Marketing for 47brand.com, oversee Retention Marketing and our β47 Family loyalty program, and manage the entirety of paid media spend for the brand. The successful candidate has extensive experience leading and developing marketing plans consisting of multi-touch digital programs as well as managing agency relationships to meet Ecommerce and Brand goals.
Responsibilities
β’ Lead the strategy and execution of the performance marketing channels, including SEM, Paid Social, Display Retargeting, Display Prospecting, Programmatic, and Affiliate Marketing
β’ Focus on driving traffic, sales growth, acquiring new customers, and retaining customers across 47brand.com
β’ Manage the entirety of paid media spend for the brand, inclusive of awareness and performance channels.
β’ Identify overarching cross-channel marketing strategy.
β’ Define and brief in (or collaborate with respective channel managers) the content needs for all digital channels.
β’ Review and approve all campaign creative, considering brand and performance KPIs.
β’ Manage campaign implementation and performance across all channels.
β’ Own all budget and KPIs for all paid media.
β’ Serve as primary POC for the paid media agency, identifying, aligning, and executing on all brand and EComm strategies.
β’ Support influencer and organic social strategy development, execution, and performance.
β’ Oversee Retention Marketing including email, SMS and our loyalty program; Ensure Retention teamβs goals of growing email & SMS opt-ins, increasing engagement, conversion rate optimization and growing our Loyalty programβs enrollment and redemptions are met.
β’ Assist in the development of the content calendar for 47brand.com, working closely with channel leads (Website, Email/SMS, Brand Social, Brand team/PR) to capture and synthesize information into one cohesive calendar.
β’ Define and execute the macro and micro β47 brand marketing strategy across all digital channels. The overarching objective will be to establish a cohesive and compelling brand presence that continues to position 47brand.com as our flagship store.
β’ Analyze business trends, sales, and performance within all marketing channels to continuously maximize profitability and brand impact.
β’ Provide continuous reporting on core business KPIs as well as individual channel performance. Provide insights & optimize performance and investment across digital acquisition and retention channels to maximize short and long-term revenue growth.
β’ Ensure consistent prioritization and focus to leverage internal resources available most efficiently.
Role Requirements
β’ 10+ years of digital marketing experience
β’ 5+ years of leadership experience
β’ Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable proposals.
β’ A strong understanding of data and a focus on rigorous testing to optimize campaigns -- in particular, you're constantly thinking about LTV, CAC, and ROAS
β’ Experience working with and managing external agencies
β’ Strong technical knowledge relevant to typical ecommerce environment
β’ Comfortable in a fast-changing, fast paced environment with tight deadlines and the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
