Role description
Terry Precision Cycling is seeking a visionary and hands-on leader who deeply understands female cyclists: their needs, motivations, and aspirations, and translate that into product planning, merchandising, and brand storytelling. This is not a “big team, big budget” role. Terry runs lean, and we’re looking for a creator who loves rolling up their sleeves, wearing multiple hats, and getting the work done. One day you might be analyzing sales data and trend reports, the next you could be planning out seasonal assortments, briefing new cycling innovations, writing a product story, or traveling to ride with our community. Key Responsibilities: • Own seasonal merchandising direction: line planning, hero product selection, lifecycle management, private label collaborations. • Conduct trend, customer, and competitor analyses to guide decisions. • Collaborate with design, sourcing, and marketing partners to bring new products to life • Set & execute the merchandise marketing plan via story docs, email calendar and monthly communication plans. • Roll up your sleeves and write product copy, merchandising boards, shoot prep, or customer surveys as needed. • Maintain Terry’s authentic cycling voice across product and brand storytelling. • Define and lead Terry’s product and brand vision for the next era. • Provide strategic reporting to leadership/board on product performance and growth opportunities. Who You Are: • A passionate cyclist who lives the lifestyle, loves apparel and advocates for women in sport. • Experienced in merchandising, product line planning, or e-commerce brand strategy (apparel or consumer background preferred). • A doer: not afraid of the grunt work, energized by a lean, scrappy environment. • Skilled at balancing vision with execution - you think big and act small. • Comfortable leading across internal teams and outsourced partners. • A natural storyteller who can connect product features to customer benefits.
