Role description
Are you ready for what’s next?
Come explore opportunities within Brunswick, a global marine leader committed to challenging conventions and innovating next-generation technologies that transform experiences on the water and beyond. Brunswick believes “Next Never Rests™,” and we offer a variety of exciting careers and growth opportunities within united teams defining the future of marine recreation.
Innovation is the heart of Brunswick. See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:
Position Overview:
Brunswick is seeking a strategic and execution-focused leader to drive its digital shelf and online marketplace merchandising efforts. This role oversees the end-to-end strategy and operations for product content, syndication, and performance across Amazon, Walmart, and other ecommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will blend expertise in product content, digital experience, and technical program management to optimize PDPs, manage PIM/DAM systems, and lead cross-functional teams. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how Brunswick products are discovered, experienced, and purchased across the digital retail landscape.
At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.
Essential Functions:
• Own the end-to-end digital shelf strategy across retailer marketplaces, starting with Amazon and scaling to like partners (e.g. Walmart)
• Establish and enforce content standards and PDP best practices (images, specs, bullets, long descriptions, A+ / Enhanced Brand Content where applicable) and build strategies to extend best practices across Brand.com and retail + marketplaces
• Operate and optimize PIM/DAM/ syndication workflows (e.g., Salsify, Syndigo, Akeneo, InRiver or equivalent): data models, taxonomy, enrichment SLAs, validation rules, and automated syndication to retailers.
• Manage retail.com item and catalogue management: catalog hygiene, A+ content, listings troubleshooting, product twisting and bundles, and platform compliance.
• Design and run review acquisition and seeding programs (post-purchase flows, review campaigns, CX touchpoints) to lift social proof and conversion.
• Define and track digital shelf KPIs (content quality score, product findability, organic search visibility, PDP conversion rate, marketplace ACOS/ROAS, revenue per SKU) and translate insights into prioritized roadmaps.
• Build/lead a cross functional team (managers, product content specialists, PIM ops) and vendor/agency partnerships to scale execution.
• Partner with product management, engineering, creative, supply chain, legal (compliance/claims), dealer/channel teams, and brand leads to ensure consistent info and on-time launches.
• Drive continuous improvement: test PDP variants, schema/structured data optimizations, SEO for product pages, and channel-specific merchandising experiments.
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
• 8–12+ years experience in ecommerce, digital product/content operations, or marketplace management, with at least 3–5 years managing cross-functional teams or programs.
• Deep operational knowledge of PIM/DAM and syndication tools and workflows; proven record implementing or running them at scale.
• Demonstrated expertise in Amazon and Walmart marketplace strategies, catalog management, and retail.com merchandising.
• Strong product/UX sensibility — experience driving PDP/UI changes with engineering and design teams.
• Excellent analytical skills: comfortable with SQL/data dashboards, A/B test design, and translating metrics (traffic, conversion, ACOS, CR) into prioritized fixes.
• Experience working with agencies and 3rd-party marketplace specialists.
• Exceptional stakeholder skills — able to influence senior leaders, global brands, and channel partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in CPG, sporting goods, marine, powersports, or durable goods with complex SKUs and parts hierarchies.
• Experience with commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento) and feed/merchant tools (ChannelAdvisor, Feedonomics).
• Familiarity with APIs, ETL, and product data schemas (GS1, schema.org for product).
Working Conditions:
• Hybrid - Onsite 3 times per week
The anticipated pay range for this position is $129,500.00 -$219,000.00 USD annually.
