Position Summary: The Children’s Place is the largest pure-play children’s retailer in North America. We sell apparel, footwear, accessories etc. in North America and Globally, in stores and online under the brand names of The Children's Place, and Gymboree. We’re looking for a highly strategic and analytical Director of Paid Media to lead our brand and performance media efforts across all channels. You’ll be responsible for delivering against both brand awareness and revenue goals—balancing creativity with data-driven rigor. This role will own end-to-end paid media strategy and execution across the full funnel—from upper-funnel brand campaigns to lower-funnel performance tactics. You’ll manage an external media agency as well as an internal performance media team, ensuring campaigns are efficient, effective, and aligned with company priorities. We’re seeking someone entrepreneurial, resourceful, and highly accountable, a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Key Accountabilities: • Own and evolve the paid media strategy across brand and performance channels to deliver on both brand health and revenue targets • Lead a team of offshore performance marketers while managing an agency partner for brand media planning and execution • Partner closely with Brand, Creative, CRM, Ecommerce, and Merchandising to develop integrated marketing campaigns • Set KPIs and benchmarks, track performance, and continuously optimize media mix and spend • Drive testing and innovation in media channels, audience strategies, and creative • Present campaign performance, learnings, and business impact clearly and succinctly to senior leadership • Lead annual and quarterly media planning and budget allocation processes • Stay ahead of digital trends, platform changes, and privacy regulations to future-proof our media investment Qualifications: Experience: • 10–12+ years of experience in paid media, with deep expertise across both brand and performance • Proven experience owning a site and app that drives significant revenue • Deep knowledge of site analytics, CRO tactics, and digital CX best practices • Strong understanding of digital KPIs and experience in directing the build for a KPI dashboard • Experience with Tik Tok shop will be a plus Education: • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an MBA is often preferred.
