Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nationβs leading brands. Weβre seeking a Director of Paid Social & Display Marketing Strategy for a 6-month contract opportunity (October 2025 β April 2026) with a leading e-commerce client. This is a hybrid role based in Brooklyn, NY, requiring 1β2 days onsite per week.
In this role, youβll lead a talented team responsible for executing full-funnel campaigns across paid social, video, and display. Youβll drive strategy that builds awareness, inspires consideration, and delivers measurable ROI. This position requires a blend of creative storytelling, data-driven decision-making, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Analytics, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
Director, Paid Social & Display Marketing Strategy Responsibilities:
Lead paid social and display strategy across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
Balance creative storytelling with data-driven insights, including MMM, MTA, and Brand Lift.
Oversee campaign development, optimization, and social-first creative initiatives.
Collaborate with Analytics, Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional partners.
Director, Paid Social & Display Marketing Strategy Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in paid social and display marketing (retail, DTC, or marketplaces preferred).
Proven leadership experience managing teams and agencies.
Expertise in creative testing, measurement, and large budget management.
Passion for blending creativity with performance marketing.
