Position Summary
FOCO is seeking a strategic, analytical, and hands-on Director of Amazon Operations to lead and scale our Amazon business across Vendor and Seller Central platforms. This role will be responsible for managing the full Amazon P&L, driving operational excellence, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve aggressive growth and profitability targets. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Amazon operations, merchandising, and advertising, and will serve as the primary liaison between FOCO, Amazon, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Business & P&L Management
β’ Own and manage the full Amazon P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
β’ Define and implement growth strategies across Amazon 1P and 3P channels.
β’ Oversee agency relationships and ensure alignment with FOCOβs goals and KPIs.
Operations & Inventory
β’ Lead all operational aspects of Amazon including inventory planning, catalog management, account health, and customer experience.
β’ Drive integration between Vendor Central and internal systems to streamline SOPs and reduce manual workload.
β’ Collaborate with finance and IT to implement tools that support bulk order processing and deduction reconciliation.
Merchandising & Marketing
β’ Manage product listings, SEO, PDP content, and advertising campaigns to maximize visibility and conversion.
β’ Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches and seasonal campaigns.
β’ Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all Amazon content and assets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
β’ Partner with supply chain, marketing, licensing, and creative teams to align inventory, promotions, and product development.
β’ Coordinate with Amazon contacts and internal stakeholders to resolve catalog, variation, and compliance issues.
Reporting & Analytics
β’ Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.
β’ Analyze customer behavior, sales trends, and operational metrics to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
β’ 8+ years of experience managing Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, preferably in consumer goods or licensed merchandise.
β’ Proven track record of scaling Amazon businesses and managing P&L.
β’ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
β’ Experience with Amazon advertising, SEO, and content optimization.
β’ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
