.NET Core Developer (with nopCommerce Experience)
.NET Core Developer (with nopCommerce Experience), £50,000 – £55,000
We are seeking a skilled .NET Core Developer with proven experience in the nopCommerce platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and customising e-commerce solutions using ASP.NET Core, nopCommerce, and related Microsoft technologies. You will work alongside a cross-functional team of designers, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant e-commerce applications.
We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 – £55,000 Pension Flexible Hybrid Working 20 Days Holiday Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy web applications using ASP.NET Core and nopCommerce.
• Customise and extend nopCommerce functionality through plugin development and theming.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping providers.
• Optimise performance, security, and scalability of nopCommerce implementations.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Participate in planning and coding reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and bugs.
• Write unit tests and contribute to test automation efforts.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and deployment notes.
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years professional experience with ASP.NET Core development.
• At least 1 year hands-on experience with nopCommerce (preferably v4.50 or later).
• Strong knowledge of C#, MVC, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, Dependency Injection.
• Experience creating and deploying nopCommerce plugins and themes.
• Proficient in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with SQL Server including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
• Understanding of e-commerce domain concepts such as catalogue, orders, payments, discounts.
• Experience using Git and working in a CI/CD environment.
Desirable:
• Experience with nopCommerce multi-store and multi-vendor configurations.
• Exposure to Azure and Docker.
• Experience with nopCommerce performance tuning and caching strategies.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and accessibility standards.
Location:
Hybrid working – mainly from home, with quarterly travel to Southampton for project reviews and company gatherings. Modern office located in central Southampton, close to public transport links.
