Job Purpose
The E-Commerce Associate will be the Marketplace Merchandiser and will manage our product listings and digital marketing efforts on Amazon and Walmart. Associate will be responsible for product setup, keyword optimization, digital advertising, and inventory tracking to maximize visibility, sales, and profitability on these platforms.
Duties And Responsibilities
• Responsible for Product Setup & Optimization:
Create, upload, and manage product listings on Amazon and Walmart with compelling descriptions, images, and attributes.
Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve search ranking and visibility.
Optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend keywords to enhance discoverability and conversion rates.
• Responsible to prepare Digital Marketing & Advertising information:
Develop and execute Amazon PPC and Walmart Connect ad campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
Monitor ad performance, adjust bids, and optimize campaigns for ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
Stay up to date with advertising trends and platform algorithm changes to maintain competitiveness.
Understanding of SEO and SEM
• Keep track of Inventory & Pricing Management:
Track stock levels, monitor replenishment needs, and coordinate with supply chain teams to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on competitor analysis, market trends, and platform fee structures.
Ensure compliance with MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policies and prevent unauthorized price drops.
• Prepare Performance Tracking & Reporting Information:
Analyze sales data, keyword performance, and conversion rates to identify growth opportunities.
Generate reports on marketplace performance, ad spend efficiency, and inventory health.
Collaborate with internal teams to align marketplace strategies with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Business and/or Marketing major (quantitative, test-driven field or equivalent experience required)
• 1-3 years of Marketplace experience (experience using Amazon required; and Walmart site preferred)
• Solid understanding of applicable KPIs along with the tools needed to measure and analyze campaign performance
• Proven success in managing accounts and data analytics to drive revenue and brand growth
• In-depth experience of Seller central, Amazon Advertising, Helium 10
• Strong self-organization and time management skills
• Experience working with Amazon, Walmart, Shopify and other major e -commerce companies
The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $78,000 to $97,500. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
