Eco Battery is looking for a digitally driven and strategic E-commerce Manager to lead the growth of our online presence across both B2B wholesale and consumer retail channels. Reporting to the Marketing team, this role will own the e-commerce strategy end-to-end, delivering exceptional user experiences and ensuring seamless operations in collaboration with product, fulfillment, and creative teams.
E-commerce Product Ownership
• Demonstrated experience managing e-commerce product roadmaps and leading full-cycle feature launches.
• Deep knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and user personalization strategies.
• Skilled at working cross-functionally with engineers and designers to build intuitive, high-converting shopping experiences.
• Familiar with Shopify Plus and the latest e-commerce UX/UI best practices.
• Proven ability to develop site features such as bundles, upsells, post-purchase flows, PDP enhancements, and tailored landing pages.
Insight-Driven Decision Making
• Advanced analytical skills using tools like GA4, Shopify analytics, and post-purchase data to inform site optimization.
• Able to monitor and act on core KPIs like conversion rate, bounce rate, average order value, LTV, and cart abandonment.
• Adept at combining qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform product, UX, and marketing decisions.
Collaborative Leadership
• Partners closely with channel owners to optimize on-site experiences across the full customer funnel.
• Translates campaign goals into briefs that guide the creative team toward performance and brand alignment.
• Manages input from a variety of stakeholders across product, engineering, design, and marketing with clarity and confidence.
• Communicates effectively—both verbally and in writing—with a strong sense of prioritization and tradeoff management.
E-commerce Operations Oversight
• Passionate about the customer experience, driving improvements and content to help drive greater customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Responsible for ensuring product merchandising, inventory, SKU setup, pricing changes, and routine site updates are executed.
• Working closely with the support team on high level customer frictions, account issues and identifying improvements.
• Ensures site operations run smoothly and owns the day-to-day execution process with the team.
• Builds and documents repeatable systems that streamline ongoing updates and merchandising tasks.
Experience & Qualifications
• 6+ years in e-commerce, with 3+ years in a digital product or website leadership capacity.
• Track record of growing both DTC and B2B/wholesale e-commerce businesses.
• Direct experience managing a multi-million dollar e-commerce P&L.
• History of leading cross-functional initiatives that span design, engineering, fulfillment, and marketing.
• Deep experience with Shopify Plus and a modern e-commerce tech stack.
Technical Toolkit
• Advanced user of Shopify Plus for store management, product setup, and merchandising.
• Proficient in project and task management platforms Trello.
• Skilled in Slack for team collaboration and communication.
• Comfortable with the full Google Workspace (Gsuite)—Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, and Gmail.
