Stinger is growing! Stinger is seeking an E-Commerce Merchandiser to join our dynamic E-Commerce team.
The E-Commerce Merchandiser is responsible for optimizing the presentation, promotion, and performance of products on our online stores and marketplaces. The goal is to maximize sales, profitability, and enhance the customer shopping experience through effective digital merchandising strategies and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position is responsible for creating best-in-class customer experience through relevant and engaging content that reduces customer friction and reduces the need for technical support. This role includes eCommerce and marketplaces content creation and maintenance, eCommerce inventory management, promotional cycle management, and delivery of shopper analysis and reporting. The E-Commerce Merchandiser acts as a marketing ambassador ensuring Stinger’s digital merchandising strategies align with product campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create alignment between product strategy and customer journey within Stinger’s eCommerce platform and marketplaces (Amazon, etc)
• Support the growth of Stinger’s Amazon presence
• Develop data-driven site merchandising plan that maximizes customer engagement and sales of new and existing products
• Increase conversation rate through relevant, engaging content and merchandising strategies, collaborating with marketing team members to implement optimizations
• Use analytical tools to optimize product placement
• Make recommendations on website optimization
• Create product taxonomy
• Increase product searchability with on-page text, collaborating with SEO specialists
• Execute price changes on Stinger’s website
• Manage cross-platform pricing alignment
• Ensure product’s digital display is accurate
• Ensure that standards for quality assurance are established and achieved in all projects.
• Stay up to date on e-commerce trends to remain competitive in emerging digital opportunities.
• Verify purchase journey is correctly merchandised
• Work closely with inventory management team
• Work across departments to ensure product launch timelines and align digital content with ongoing marketing campaigns
• Implement and track A/B testing for product layouts, visuals, and copy to improve conversion rates and site performance.
• Optimize product categorization, search, navigation, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities to enhance product discovery and conversion.
• Optimize data feeds for Meta and Google Catalogs creating product titles and content that meet SEO, feed, and consumer best practices.
Requirements:
• This position must be accurate and meticulous regarding product details
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Shopify, Heat Mapping, G4, Google Merchant Center, and Facebook Catalog proficiency
• Amazon listing expertise
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across various business functions
• This is an in-office role located in St. Petersburg, FL
Require Education and Experience:
• 5+ years’ experience in digital merchandising
• 5+ years' experience in Amazon and third-party e-commerce merchandising
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar field preferred
