LOCATION: About The Position We are seeking a results-driven and strategic E-Commerce & Sales Enablement Manager to lead the development and execution of our digital sales infrastructure—focusing on launching and scaling our e-commerce platform for Wear Parts Resource, Astec’s competitive wear parts initiative, while equipping the whole goods, and parts sales teams with the tools they need to succeed. This is a key role within our organization, responsible for transforming how customers research, compare, and purchase high-demand wear components online, while optimizing sales operations across our industrial machinery and aftermarket parts divisions. Deliverables & Responsibilities E-Commerce Strategy & Execution (80%) • Lead the end-to-end implementation and ongoing management of the Wear Parts Resource e-commerce platform focused on competitive wear parts (e.g., grates, bits, etc.). • Define and own the digital customer journey, ensuring a streamlined, intuitive, and value-driven online experience. • Build and maintain a high-accuracy product catalog with technical specs, compatibility info, images, pricing, and inventory visibility. • Integrate e-commerce systems with Airport Road’s ERP, CRM, and inventory platforms to support real-time updates, efficient order fulfillment, and customer self-service. • Oversee SEO, site structure, product search filters, and taxonomy to improve discoverability of parts. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, inventory, sales, and marketing) to ensure platform alignment with business goals. • Monitor KPIs and site performance (traffic, conversion rate, cart abandonment, average order size), and drive continuous improvements through data insights. • Leverage experience with getting WRP operational into other aspects of Astec’s competitive wear parts business. Sales Enablement Leadership (20%) • Develop and oversee the creation of sales enablement tools and resources such as product guides, technical spec sheets, pricing matrices, pitch decks, and competitor comparisons. • Standardize collateral to ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and part information across customer touchpoints. • Equip sales teams with digital tools that support quoting, product configuration, and fast access to replacement part information. • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive sales tasks and streamline quote-to-order workflows through integrated platforms. • Provide training and documentation to ensure the field sales team and customer support reps can effectively leverage available tools and resources. • Act as a bridge between product knowledge and customer communication—translating complex technical data into digestible, sales-ready content. To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are: • 5+ years of experience in B2B e-commerce management, sales operations, or digital transformation within an industrial or manufacturing environment. • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento) in a complex parts or product-based business. • Strong understanding of industrial machinery, competitive wear parts, aftermarket sales, or MRO supply chains. • Experience integrating e-commerce platforms with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Salesforce, HubSpot). • High proficiency in organizing and structuring large product catalogs, including technical documentation and part compatibility data. • Strong project management, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
