Role description
Job Description Job Description: Tzumi Electronics is looking for a multi-talented E-commerce Videographer 1st camera Assistant. This person will be working directly with the Director of Video and Photography on set and in post to create powerful and dynamic promotional, e-commerce, social videos, GIFS, and sales pitch videos. Experience in Premiere and After Effects is preferred. This is an in-office Freelance to Perm Position. Must have knowledge of working on a set, DSLR cameras, camera equipment, DJI stabilizers, camera rigging, lighting setups, prep planning for shoot day, shot list, storyboarding, focus pulling, maintaining, and cataloging footage files. Responsibilities: β€’ Set and light shoot area β€’ Establish β€œshoot” areas in-office β€’ Assist in the coordination of internal/external talent and props β€’ Coordinate shot list with team β€’ Maintain consistent lighting and video style β€’ Work with a wide range of product categories from small ear buds to fitness equipment. β€’ Collaborate with the Brand Director, Digital Designers and Web Developer on formatting and all video specs. β€’ Can operate cameras, lighting and life feed equipment. β€’ Organize and maintain props and equipment. β€’ Assist with video editing, gifs, short clips, static graphics, streaming stories a plus. Skills and Qualifications: β€’ Camera Knowledge: A strong understanding of camera equipment and its functions is essential. β€’ Technical Skills: Knowledge of lighting, grip equipment, and media management is important. β€’ Organizational Skills: The ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently is crucial. β€’ Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and teamwork skills are needed to work effectively with the camera operator and other crew members. β€’ Problem-Solving: The ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions on set is valuable. β€’ Experience: Internships or freelance experience can help build a portfolio and demonstrate skills.
