Overview
This Ecom Analyst of Small Parcel Transportation for eCommerce is responsible for Parcel Management services and related procurement activities to support the NFI eCommerce fulfillment business. Qualified candidates will have strong experience in small parcel eCommerce direct-to-consumer and business-to-business fulfillment operations. This position reports to the Senior Product Manager, eCommerce.
Responsibilities
• Assists in transportation sourcing and carrier compliance
• Analyzes parcel agreements and optimizes them for optimal cost savings based on carrier, service, rate and accessorial charges
• Ability to manage the small parcel transportation within a national network of multi-tenant eCommerce fulfillment facilities
• Ability to manage multiple small parcel transportation providers including FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, regional carriers and final mile delivery companies
• Establishes and documents best practices in the industry related to parcel sourcing, vetting, onboarding, rate negotiations, and performance management
• Strong aptitude of solving complex problems within transportation, systems, and operations
• Exceeds customer’s expectations by providing superior service, creative and efficient logistics solutions while continually developing and enhancing business relationships both internally and externally
• Supports merchant Success Team on requests and QBRs
• Maintains working knowledge in a very fast-paced industry and understand impacts to the eCommerce product offering
• Supports small parcel modeling of RFP’s (new business development)
• Supports the implementation of new business
• Audits parcel billing
• Efficiently manages all small parcel transportation administrative functions and reporting requirements both internally for senior management and for external customers
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Transportation Management Field or relevant working experience
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in eCommerce small parcel management
• Strong small parcel eCommerce experience in a multiple node supply chain
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access and Power Point
• Ability to interact and present information to individuals at all professional levels
• Strong organization, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with significant change
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet specific goals and deadlines
• Strong budget and financial acumen
• Strategic agility - Gains perspective and balances the pressure between daily tasks and strategic actions that impact the long-term viability of the organization
• Ability to travel up to 25%, with extended travel for start-ups/special projects
We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $61,744.80 - $82,326.40, based on the national average for the position. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 5%. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
