Role description
The E-commerce Trading Manager will be responsible for driving the commercial performance of Liwaβs portfolio of brands across our regional e-commerce platforms. This role requires strong analytical, commercial, and operational acumen to manage online sales, promotions, assortment planning, and stock availability, ensuring the optimal customer experience while achieving revenue and margin goals.
Commercial Planning & Performance
β’ Own the sales and margin targets for all e-commerce channels across assigned brands.
β’ Develop and execute the online trading calendar in alignment with brand marketing and retail campaigns.
β’ Work closely with brand teams to plan seasonal assortments, product launches, and markdown strategies.
β’ Monitor daily performance and make data-led decisions to optimise sales, AOV, and conversion.
Site Merchandising & Content
β’ Oversee product listing, categorisation, and on-site search to ensure intuitive navigation and discoverability.
β’ Coordinate with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure timely publishing of assets and banners.
β’ Drive seasonal merchandising refreshes and on-site updates in line with trading priorities.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
β’ Ensure stock availability and timely replenishment by collaborating with supply chain and brand merchandising teams.
β’ Monitor sell-through and ageing inventory, recommending reorders or mark-downs as needed.
β’ Support demand planning and stock allocation decisions based on online trends and sales velocity.
Campaign Execution
β’ Plan and execute promotional and tactical campaigns to drive traffic and conversions (e.g., End of Season Sales, Payday Offers, New Collection Drops).
β’ Coordinate campaign readiness across product, pricing, assets, and customer journeys.
β’ Post-campaign performance review and reporting.
Reporting & Analysis
β’ Track and report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs including sales, traffic, conversion, returns, and margin.
β’ Identify insights and opportunities for optimisation through regular performance reviews.
β’ Present trading performance updates to management and brand stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications
β’ 5β7 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, preferably in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle retail.
β’ Proven experience managing online trading for multiple brands or categories.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
β’ Strong commercial and analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
β’ Proficient in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
