Overview The Ecommerce Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and addressing complex issues that impact sales, inventory, and athletes. The Ecommerce Inventory Control Analyst performs various reconciliations to ensure sales, returns, and inventory movement are recorded properly in the merchandising system. The Ecommerce Inventory Control Analyst is also responsible for working closely with the Senior Ecommerce Inventory Control Analyst to complete all reconciliations, tasks, and ad hoc requirements. When complex technical or process issues arise, the Ecommerce Inventory Control will partner with the Senior Ecommerce Inventory Control Analyst to triage issue and resolve the problem, ensuring the proper recordation of sales, returns, and inventory. Job Duties And Responsibilities β€’ Review exception reporting and perform reconciliations to identify processing issues that impact customer payment, refunds, and inventory. Review exceptions and determine how to address issues to ensure customers are charged or refunded and inventory is recorded properly. Ensure quick and accurate resolution of issues. Requires continual evaluation of reconciliations and decisioning process since systems and failure points regularly change as Ecommerce ecosystem evolves. β€’ When complex issues arise, work with the Senior Ecommerce Inventory Control Analyst to triage, escalate, and address issues. Identify system or process breakdowns that are driving exceptions. Present these issues to internal partners (technology and business teams) as well as external partners (3rd party fulfillment vendor), and collaborate with these groups to find a resolution. β€’ Advise Customer Service team on challenging customer-facing issues. Provide expertise and knowledge on authorizations, payments, and refunds to help Customer Service work through complicated customer issues. β€’ Assist the Senior Ecommerce Analysts with reconciliations of ecommerce fulfillment center inventory and sales. Perform variance investigations and make recommendations on how to fix discrepancies. β€’ Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce expense. Work with cross-functional business partners and vendors to investigate opportunities and implement improvements. β€’ Prepare monthly reporting on key Sales Audit metrics. Present reporting to leadership team to highlight issues and trends. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor's Degree - Business, Finance or Accounting β€’ 1-3 years of experience
