The Position The Ecommerce Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that online sales and conversion opportunities are always maximised across the Rodial.com website (and related platforms) through data analysis and insights to drive the brand forward. The role oversees trading, CRM, strategic activations for the Rodial website, as well as supports deliverables from key third-party agencies, and optimises the online customer journey. This role combines creative brand storytelling with data-driven optimisation, ensuring every digital touchpoint maximises sales while delivering a premium brand experience. A key part of this position will be expertly managing paid social campaigns, sourcing and briefing creative assets, and managing the e-commerce content calendar to align with the overall brand marketing plan. This is a key role in the Ecommerce team, ensuring all digital activities and supporting processes are followed and delivered appropriately according to business goals. A multidisciplinary role, the Ecommerce Digital Marketing Manager also plays an important part in the continuous optimisation of the customer experience. Please note this position is 4 days a week from our office in W11, and Friday's from home. Responsibilities: Website Management / Online Trading • Support the Head of Ecommerce and Performance Marketing manage and optimize the Rodial ecommerce site to ensure a seamless, luxury shopping experience • Responsible for planning promotional activities to deliver the trade and marketing calendar on time, in accordance with key deadlines • Brief and maintain communication with relevant internal teams and key third-party agencies on upcoming plans and focuses for the website • Identify trends in performance and suggest new ways to build additional revenue streams • Manage SEO strategy to improve organic rankings and site traffic • Produce high-quality copy for product pages, category descriptions, and campaign landing pages • Highlight sales and conversion trends against forecast and previous performance • Support the Head of Ecommerce and Performance Marketing with the digital strategy and budgeting for each region and by channel • Assist with the eCommerce roadmap, briefing and testing new functionalities with the development agency • Complete daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports and analysis of onsite activity as required • Carry out regular site walks Digital Marketing / CRM • Plan and execute a CRM strategy for Email, SMS, and Loyalty, including reporting, artwork briefing, and ongoing optimisation • Day-to-day support for Digital marketing agencies and CRO teams on plans and deliverables • Build and execute the Content Plan across website and owned digital channels • Lead and manage high-performing campaigns across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and other relevant platforms • Continuously monitor and optimise ad performance to maximise ROI and ROAS • Use data insights to drive personalised experiences, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities • Use AI tools to enhance creative development, campaign personalisation, and audience targeting • Prepare for and attend strategy meetings with key third-party agencies Customer Experience • Meeting sales and conversion targets by continuously optimising mobile and desktop websites, while working closely with internal teams and key external third-party agencies • Maintain regular communication with the Customer Service Lead and cross-functional teams in the business to ensure we are providing the best possible customer experience • Monitor heatmap tools, gather customer insights, and make recommendations for improvement • Be a key counterpart in the business for insights into digital reporting, using data insights to drive personalized experiences, cross-selling and upselling opportunities whilst identifying trends and areas for improvement Supply Chain and Operations • Liaise with the Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure that stock levels across the website are correct at all times and that key stock lines are being delivered • System checks including test orders General • Contribute to the overall business direction and strategy • Carry out additional duties when reasonably requested and where necessary within the defined levels of responsibility and accountability of the role • General support for the ecommerce operations and commercial teams where required To be successful in this role you will have the following: • Proven experience in a similar eCommerce role, with Beauty experience desirable • Passion for the customer and all elements of customer experience • Strong commercial acumen, but with a creative eye to ensure the website is as visually appealing as possible • Experience using industry recognised CMS systems (Shopify, Magento etc) • Experience managing third-party digital marketing agencies • You will be comfortable using AI tools to accelerate marketing content creation, campaign optimisation, and audience insights • The ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, always seeking best practice • The ability to be both reactive and innovative
