Role description
About Tom’s Studio Tom’s Studio is a fast-growing, modern stationery brand creating tools for creators of all kinds – from professional artists to curious beginners. We’re on a mission to shake up an industry often seen as stale and wasteful, with beautifully designed, infinitely refillable tools for writing, drawing, and making. From elegant calligraphy pens and vibrant inks to sustainable paper goods and our bestselling Wren and Lumos pens, everything we create is made to inspire creativity while caring for the planet. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on and detail-driven eCommerce Executive to support the day-to-day running of our online stores and digital experience. If you love getting stuck into Shopify, building great-looking email campaigns, and making online shops feel smooth, joyful and inspiring – we’d love to hear from you. The Role As E-commerce Executive, you’ll play a key role in keeping our Shopify stores (both D2C and B2B) running beautifully – updating product pages, pricing, supporting new launches, building, scheduling and QCing emails in Klaviyo, reporting on website and email KPIs, and helping to make the online experience as inspiring and seamless as possible. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with existing Shopify experience who’s ready to take ownership of the day-to-day running of a fast-growing online store. You’ll work closely with our brand, marketing and customer support teams to keep things running smoothly, learn loads, and contribute to projects that make a real impact. It’s a varied, hands-on role that blends creativity, curiosity and a love of detail – perfect for someone eager to roll up their sleeves, build upon their digital skills, and make their mark. Key Responsibilities Online Store Management (Shopify) • Keep product listings up to date with accurate descriptions, imagery and metadata. • Support product and seasonal launches with timely updates across product and collection pages. • Ensure the site looks great, functions well, and meets best practice guidelines. • Help implement UX improvements to support navigation, product discovery and conversion. Email & CRM (Klaviyo) • Build, schedule and QC email campaigns and flows (with content provided by the marketing team). • Track and report on email performance to help improve open, click and conversion rates. • Contribute to and report on A/B testing ideas and campaign planning. Marketplaces • Assist with uploading and maintaining listings on Amazon and Faire. • Check for consistency in copy, pricing, and product presentation across all platforms. Performance Support • Pull weekly ecommerce and email metrics to track performance. • Spot and flag areas for improvement in conversion, drop-off, or product discovery. • Stay up to date with new Shopify and ecommerce features and trends. About You • 1–3 years of experience working in ecommerce, preferably in a product-based D2C brand. • Confident working in Shopify – uploading products, managing content, and using apps or tools. • Familiar with Klaviyo or similar CRM/email platforms – happy building and scheduling emails. • Data-curious – comfortable in Google Analytics, Shopify reports or Klaviyo dashboards (or willing to learn!) • Detail-focused – you’ll notice if something is misaligned, missing alt text or tagged incorrectly. • Passionate about great online experiences – from beautiful page layouts to smooth checkout flows. • A strong communicator and collaborator, keen to learn and contribute across teams. • Bonus points for: a love of stationery, or an interest in sustainability. Why Join Tom’s Studio? • Be part of something special – We’re a small but mighty team building a brand that creatives genuinely love. • Work with purpose – Help bring sustainable, joy-sparking stationery to the world. • Room to grow – We’re growing fast, and there’s loads of opportunity to learn new skills, pitch new ideas, and take on more responsibility as we go.
