Role description
The eCommerce Manager plays a key role in driving the performance of the 100% DTC digital channel. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic thinking. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the ideal candidate will have experience with digital marketing techniques, the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain the eCommerce environment and support a fast-paced business. This role is responsible for front-end eCommerce website and DTC revenue while ensuring alignment with brand marketing. We are looking for a multi-faceted individual, who can perform hands-on work in the day to day. This is a supervisory position responsible for management of e-Commerce and Customer Service teams.Duties/Responsibilities:Oversee the eCommerce business with revenue accountability while maintaining brand image.Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to develop and execute promotional strategies that drive online revenue.Partner with cross-functional teams to build and manage the 100% digital business, paid marketing, content strategy and related calendarsWork closely with the marketing team to implement campaigns across multiple channels that drive traffic, engagement, and sales - ensuring a consistent brand experience Analyze sales and marketing performance data to provide actionable insightsDevelop and report on eCommerce KPIs including traffic, conversion, AOV, and campaign performanceWork with marketing and creative teams to develop assets for campaigns that align with brand objectivesEnsure all visuals and copy are concise, tell a compelling brand story and drive engagement with targeted audiencesManage all email strategy and programs from initiation (marketing, triggers, transactional) to executionManage consumer loyalty activities, reviews, continually test new media types and channels based on industry trendsManage milestones and deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects, while keeping stakeholders up to date with progress and decisionsManage content upload and brief creative for changes and needs for the website.Oversee eCommerce Merchandising to ensure site accuracy in product listings, promotions, tagging and taxonomy Align on brand go-to-market plans and develop the seasonal digital GTM calendar.Complete a detailed monthly recap for department headsCreate digital brand strategy for eCommerce promotional offers, such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and other holidaysCoordinate with creative teams to ensure all assets meet brand and promotional goalsContribute ideas for site improvements, seasonal offers, and new digital initiativesSet and manage all service level agreementsRequirements3 to 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce requiredShopify Plus experience requiredStrong data management and reporting skills (Excel / Google Sheets, pivot tables, formulas)NetSuite Experience preferredExperience in developing digital marketing and ecommerce metrics and KPI’sKnowledge of product merchandising best practicesSolid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMRush, etc.)Experience using Google suite of applications (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)Experience in digital go-to-market planning and executionCollege degree in related coursework.BenefitsFour-Day, 32-hour workweek!
