About the Role
Our client, a leading company in Clifton, NJ, is seeking an experienced eCommerce Manager – B2B to take full ownership of their reseller-focused online platform. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, growth, and strategy of a closed B2B website that caters exclusively to authorized resellers. The ideal candidate will ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience, while driving traffic, engagement, and sales through targeted B2B marketing efforts.
This is a fully onsite position in Clifton, NJ.
Key Responsibilities
• B2B Website Ownership: Manage all aspects of the closed B2B eCommerce site dedicated to authorized resellers.
• Reseller Onboarding & Management: Oversee approval workflows, account setup, and onboarding processes to streamline reseller access and ensure compliance.
• User Experience Optimization: Enhance site usability, functionality, and navigation to make it easy for resellers to browse, order, and reorder products.
• Digital Merchandising & Logistics: Manage product setup, site merchandising, and coordinate with operations and logistics teams for accurate fulfillment.
• Marketing & Trade Engagement: Develop and execute reseller-focused marketing initiatives, including email newsletters, promotions, and trade show participation.
• Traffic Growth & Engagement: Implement strategies to drive qualified reseller traffic and increase platform usage.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, and marketing to align on B2B goals and performance.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing an eCommerce platform, with strong preference for B2B experience (B2C candidates with a desire to pivot into B2B will be considered).
• Proven success running websites that serve authorized resellers, distributors, or channel partners.
• Strong understanding of digital merchandising, reseller onboarding, and order logistics.
• Hands-on marketing experience (email newsletters, promotions, trade shows).
• Ability to develop and implement strategies that drive traffic and engagement in a B2B eCommerce environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
