About The Role We’re hiring an experienced, detail-oriented E-Commerce Manager to fully own and operate our Shopify storefront. You’ll be responsible for the site’s performance, content accuracy, visual merchandising, and overall user experience—executing both daily updates and long-term improvements that directly impact growth, conversion, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, takes pride in clean execution, and has a sharp eye for both data and design. Core Responsibilities Website Operations & Site Ownership • Manage all day-to-day activity on our Shopify site, including homepage updates, banners, product launches, collection maintenance, and general content upkeep • Handle all internal web-related requests (new pages, edits, image swaps, copy changes) with speed and accuracy • Perform weekly QA sweeps to catch broken links, outdated lead times, image issues, or UX bugs • Ensure accuracy in product listings (pricing, specs, variants, photography) and clean catalog structure using tags, metafields, and filters • Monitor and maintain a polished, mobile-optimized customer experience across devices Site Performance & Optimization • Own key e-commerce KPIs: conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV, search engagement, and sample-to-order flow • Use GA4, Hotjar, and Shopify analytics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement • Implement small optimizations (layout tweaks, filter adjustments, PDP copy updates) to improve conversion • Set up A/B tests or run basic customer feedback surveys to validate UX decisions Cross-Functional Coordination • Collaborate with marketing on product drops, campaign pages, and promotional updates • Sync with operations on product availability, lead time messaging, and shipping windows • Partner with CX to translate customer feedback into content clarifications or layout changes • Liaise with design or developers for larger-scale changes when needed Platform & Tool Management • Maintain and optimize Shopify apps (search, reviews, samples, etc.) • Work with themes and page builders to create/update landing pages • Coordinate with freelance developers or tech partners for more advanced fixes Who You Are • 3–5+ years of hands-on Shopify experience in a direct-to-consumer business • Strong understanding of Shopify 2.0 architecture, product structuring, filtering logic, and metafields • Comfortable managing a complex, high-SKU catalog with strong attention to detail • Analytical mindset with experience using GA4, Hotjar, or similar tools to drive decisions • Familiar with best practices in UX, conversion optimization, and mobile-first design • Strong project management and communication skills—able to keep tasks moving across teams • Basic HTML/CSS familiarity a plus (but not required) Why This Role Matters You’ll be the internal owner of our digital storefront—the first impression for most customers.
