Role description
eCommerce Manager
The eCommerce Manager reports directly to the SVP of eCommerce and will be responsible for building, re-launching and evolving the B2B site centered on anime toys, models and action figures. They will oversee all operational aspects of upgrading and improving the existing website, with an eye towards eCommerce. This person will oversee the PIM and DAM integration as it relates to eCommerce. They should be a driven web manager that can provide guidance as we take on any new projects. The person in this role will be tasked with supporting the improvement of the overall digital experience and providing excellent user experience for the following: BNTCA corporate site (bandai.com) and B2B wholesale site (wholesale.bandai.com).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Manage and implement all aspects of eCommerce site by proactively making changes to enhance the site experience, drive traffic and conversion and all updates including ongoing site optimizations to improve shopping experience including navigation, landing pages, shopping cart, search engine visibility, etc.
Develop and execute strategies and tactics to reach web revenue goals with a clearly defined path to meet financial objectives.
Monthly/yearly budget allocations and approvals through proper channels.
Analyze sales data to provide actionable insights for growing the web business.
Manage all product preparation for eCommerce including gathering all product assets, confirming accuracy, setting up products in the backend and deploying to the site. ensure products are merchandised accurately and intuitively online.
Responsible for the planning and execution of site updates to support product releases, marketing/sales efforts and general site maintenance.
Project management for all web development and eCommerce initiatives.
Create and maintain the (monthly/weekly) schedule for all website enhancements and/or solutions.
Manage the website and eCommerce platform while taking proactive steps to enhance customer experience.
Day-to-day platform and product operations, ensuring technical process consistency.
Manage the maintenance of eCommerce applications (i.e.: Mailchimp, Wufoo Forms, etc.).
Lead all updates and changes to the web platform and/or any systems that affect eCommerce operations such as order management optimizations, web analytics, tagging, etc.).
Work cross-functionally with third parties, business and IT teams on defect/enhancement resolution for all commerce systems.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with related departments and outside companies.
Lead the system vendors, and support team members to enhance the sites and solve problems quickly.
Visual merchandising of digital spaces with an eye for high quality design and functionality.
Routinely run a performance analysis to understand and communicate performing and non-performing products; categories; trends/stories.
Troubleshoots any product related issues online including log-in issues, navigation, add-to-cart functionality, and broken image links.
Work closely and collaboratively with eCommerce team members.
Manage and provide leadership guidance for the Front-end Web Support and eCommerce Specialist.
Document and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all eCommerce related processes.

eCommerce and digital marketing experience with successful track record increasing revenue, traffic and developing a successful brand digital platform and delivering effective & innovative digital campaigns.
5+ yearsβ experience with B2B eCommerce enterprise solutions directly integrated with an ERP system (experience Adobe Commerce Cloud (formerly Magento 2) is a plus).
Integration of a PIM and DAM experience is highly desirable.
Initiative to present new ideas for enhancements and improvements of eCommerce functionality as well as operations related to the eCommerce processes.
