Job Description E-Commerce Manager & Marketing Coordinator Location: Pasadena, CA (Hybrid) Position Overview We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented E-Commerce & Marketing Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of Selkie’s e-commerce department while also supporting and coordinating brand marketing strategies. This Role Will – Manage and optimize the Shopify storefront. – Coordinate marketing campaigns in Klaviyo. – Use analytics tools like Triple Whale to track and improve performance. – Collaborate with the Social Media & Influencer Manager to ensure that product launches, marketing content, and storytelling are aligned across all customer touchpoints. – Work closely with creative, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless, on-brand, and conversion-focused customer journey. Key Responsibilities Shopify Store Management • Assist in setting up products, categories, tags, and visual merchandising. • Audit product listings for accuracy (pricing, inventory, descriptions, imagery). • Support seasonal updates, product launches, and sale implementations. • Collaborate with design and copy teams to upload collections on schedule. Email & SMS Marketing (Klaviyo) • Build, test, and schedule email/SMS campaigns based on the marketing calendar. • Coordinate with the creative team to ensure marketing assets and copy are optimized for each send. • Maintain and update segmentation lists (HVCs, new customers, loyalty tiers). • Monitor performance metrics and recommend improvements. Analytics & Performance (Triple Whale, GA, Shopify Analytics) • Create weekly and monthly performance reports (traffic, conversion, top sellers, AOV, ROAS). • Track campaign ROI and customer behavior across channels. • Support ad-hoc reporting requests for data-driven decision-making. Marketing Strategy & Collaboration • Partner with the Social Media & Influencer Manager to create integrated marketing campaigns that align across social, email, affiliate, and e-commerce channels. • Contribute to campaign calendars and ensure e-commerce activities match planned marketing moments. • Coordinate timelines and deliverables between creative, social, and influencer teams for smooth campaign launches. • Ensure product storytelling is consistent from marketing content through to product pages and the checkout experience. • Collaborate on promotions, seasonal campaigns, and collection launches to maximize reach and sales. • Provide marketing performance insights to help refine targeting, creative direction, and channel strategy. Cross-Functional Support • Liaise with customer service to flag and resolve product listing or UX issues. • Maintain internal documentation for product launches and workflows. • Attend weekly e-commerce and marketing meetings, documenting next steps and ensuring follow-through. Qualifications • 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or merchandising for a fashion, lifestyle, or DTC brand. • Proficiency with Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google Analytics (Triple Whale experience a plus). • Strong understanding of e-commerce marketing funnels and campaign planning. • Comfortable analyzing performance data and making actionable recommendations. • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines. • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration experience. • Passion for fashion, brand storytelling, and building engaging customer experiences. Bonus Points If You • Have basic HTML/CSS or Shopify Liquid skills. • Have worked in a fast-paced, creative brand environment. • Understand affiliate program management or influencer partnerships.
