We are now looking for a hands-on, commercially-minded Ecommerce Manager to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day performance and development of our ecommerce channels. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real impact in a company that’s scaling up quickly. Role Overview As our Ecommerce Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and optimising our ecommerce platforms currently built on Adobe Commerce (Magento), with a replatforming project to Shopify on the horizon. You’ll work closely with our specialist digital agencies to deliver high-impact SEO and CRO programmes, while playing a key role in shaping our roadmap and future development priorities. This role will suit someone who is technically capable, analytically strong, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get stuck in. Ideally, you’ll also bring experience managing ecommerce across international markets as we expand into the EU and Middle East. Key Responsibilities • Take day-to-day ownership of the ecommerce platform, ensuring the site runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently • Manage the transition from Adobe Commerce to Shopify, including platform migration and integrations • Collaborate with external agencies to execute best-in-class SEO and CRO strategies • Monitor site performance, customer journey and conversion funnels, identifying areas for continuous improvement • Propose and evaluate the commercial impact of new features and functionality to inform development priorities • Optimise ecommerce operations, product merchandising, promotions and onsite search • Ensure our tech stack is integrated and working effectively (tools include ShipperHQ, Nosto, Klaviyo, WisePops, Symplify, SEOMonitor) • Support international ecommerce growth and localisation as we enter new markets • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Product, Customer Service and Operations teams to deliver a cohesive online experience What We’re Looking For • Proven experience in a similar ecommerce management role, ideally within retail, gifting or lifestyle sectors • Strong working knowledge of Magento (Adobe Commerce) and Shopify • Hands-on experience delivering SEO and CRO improvements (with or without agency support) • Technically confident, with the ability to manage platforms and troubleshoot issues as they arise • Commercially minded with the ability to balance customer experience with business needs • Comfortable working independently and at pace, with strong organisational skills • Experience in international ecommerce is a bonus, particularly EU or Middle East • Familiarity with relevant tools such as Klaviyo, SEOMonitor, Nosto, Symplify, ShipperHQ, and WisePops What you get in return • Salary of £40,000-£45,000 depending on experience • 25 days holiday (increasing to 28 with service) + bank holidays • Enhance Maternity & Paternity • Birthday Day off • Summer Hours (early finish on Fridays in June, July & August) • 2 Volunteer Days per year • Early finish on payday Fridays • Staff Discount • 24/7 access to EAP • Free onsite parking Please note this role will require you to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
