Role description
About the role: We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious E-commerce Manager to join our growing team at Mars The Label. In this newly created position, the E-commerce Manager will play a pivotal role in optimising our online performance, enhancing our digital presence across global territories with a laser focus on implementing a high performance growth strategy to maximise revenue. You will be responsible for defining and shaping our digital trading strategy with full ownership of the day-to-day management and optimisation of our online store. You will identify key opportunities to enhance the customer journey and will play a key role in our global trading strategy. Key responsibilities: • Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to define and implement a global trading strategy. • Develop and implement key trading plans to align with company growth targets, increased conversion and maximising revenue across our online store. • Management of the e-commerce operations for our online store, ensuring optimal product and collection performance. • Implement and analyse onsite performance using key analytics and performance tools and make recommendations to continuously improve the customer experience and online functionality. • Providing regular reporting to the Senior Leadership team including KPI performance based on key metrics such as conversation rate, basket abandonment, average order value, traffic and sessions to enhance sales performance. • Lead trade meetings to review performance and forward planning for commercial opportunities to maximise growth. • Leveraging data and insights to help inform key trading performance improvements such as traffic, sessions and bounce rates. • Responsible for online visual merchandising and product descriptions including management of product listings, ensuring all items are accurately described and visually appealing to maximise revenue. • Working closely with the Merchandising team on product performance and ensuring all products are optimised for conversion. • Working closely with the marketing team to manage all website assets including campaign, new product launch, promotional activities and key trading content that drives customer engagement and sales. • Management of our customer app to ensure seamless end-to-end customer journey, ensuring optimal revenue performance. • Implement A/B testing for creative elements such as visuals and copy to optimise engagement and conversion rates, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. • Utilise data and customer insights to drive personalisation strategies, delivering relevant, tailored content and product recommendations. • Assist with coordinating evergreen and seasonal content requirements to drive SEO, customer engagement and increase conversion. About you: • Minimum 5 years experience in an ecommerce role, preferably in the luxury, beauty, or fashion sectors. • Extensive experience using e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and performance tracking analytics tools. • Proven track record of improving front-end customer experiences and executing successful e-commerce campaigns to maximise revenue. • Data driven with the ability to digest and identify key insights and turn them into actionable performance improvements. • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and experience working with the marketing and creative teams to optimise the online experience. • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. • Experience in managing performance marketing such as paid media and CRM is adventurous, but not essential. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Self starter, highly motivated with a positive attitude and team player mentality.
