Job Title: E-Commerce Manager
Location: Dutton, Runcorn
Reports To: General Manager
Overview
We’re seeking a commercially minded E-Commerce Manager to lead online growth across DTC and marketplace channels. This role is ideal for a hands-on operator with strong commercial awareness and digital expertise, capable of driving sales, optimising site performance, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You’ll manage multiple projects across international markets, ensuring trading excellence and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Shopify Ownership: Manage and optimise the online store, including product listings, UX, site speed, merchandising, and A/B testing.
• Digital Sales Growth: Drive performance across DTC, marketplaces, affiliates, and paid campaigns, aligned to revenue and profitability targets.
• International Trading: Oversee localisation, promotions, and trading calendars for international sites.
• Marketplace Management: Lead marketplace accounts (e.g. Tesco, Superdrug, TikTok), ensuring compliance, promotions, and sales optimisation.
• Performance Reporting: Deliver weekly and monthly trade reviews, tracking KPIs such as CVR, AOV, LTV, revenue, and margin.
• CRM & Retention: Develop and execute CRM, subscription, and retention strategies to maximise lifetime value.
• Affiliate Management: Build affiliate partnerships, negotiate commissions, and acquire customers within efficient cost of sale (COS) targets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to deliver digital campaigns and product launches.
• Customer Experience: Champion site experience through funnel optimisation, checkout improvements, and automation.
• Market Analysis: Monitor competitors, identify trends, and recommend growth opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in e-commerce management, ideally within consumer goods or FMCG.
• Strong working knowledge of Shopify, marketplaces, and performance marketing channels.
• Commercially astute with experience managing revenue targets, margins, and KPIs.
• Hands-on experience with site optimisation, trading, and digital growth.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into actions.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects at pace.
