The Role:
The eCommerce Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Stella & Chewy’s online sales strategy, with a focus on driving growth and performance across key platforms including Amazon and Chewy. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring that our brand not only meets but consistently exceeds online sales goals.

You’ll develop a deep understanding of our eCommerce customers, using data to inform decisions, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen how our brand shows up across Amazon and Chewy. At the same time, you’ll drive execution across product, content, and promotional initiatives that bring Stella & Chewy’s to life online.
As part of the eCommerce team, you’ll work cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, marketing, and creative to ensure seamless execution and alignment across the business. This role offers broad exposure – from supporting marketing programs and developing best-in-class content to partnering with our advertising agency and strengthening relationships with our retail partners on Amazon and Chewy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Growth Strategy & Relationship Management: Develop growth strategies tied to business goals, manage agency and third-party relationships, and strengthen partnerships with Amazon and Chewy to maximize performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Pricing, Innovation, Creative, and external agencies to align eCommerce execution with company priorities.
• Product Detail Page (PDP) Excellence: Own the PDP strategy, conduct audits to identify errors, optimize content, and build/manage variations that drive discoverability and conversion.
• Creative Development: Submit and manage creative briefs for images, videos, banners, brand store updates, below-the-fold content, and other digital assets in partnership with internal teams and agencies.
• Testing & Insights: Oversee Amazon A/B testing, deliver reporting and dashboards, and provide ad hoc analyses to inform ongoing decision-making.
• Item Setup & Launch Support: Manage new item setup and execution for launches (including Vine, Pawsabilities, BTR, etc.), ensuring flawless onboarding and visibility across platforms.
• Retailer Management & Compliance: Enforce MAP compliance, submit and track pricing updates, monitor out-of-stocks, and communicate directly with Amazon and Chewy through meeting agendas and updates.
• Financial & Operational Oversight: Compile month-end trade spend for Finance, troubleshoot and correct EDI discrepancies, and ensure smooth operational performance.

You are an eCommerce professional with a deep understanding of digital commerce dynamics and a proven track record of driving growth across major retail partners, especially Amazon and Chewy. You are familiar with retail media and retail metrics, and know how to leverage them to maximize traffic and conversion.
You pair creative problem-solving with strong analytical skills, using data to uncover insights and guide strategic decisions. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you excel at building relationships across teams and with retail partners to move the business forward.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, with a strong emphasis on online sales strategies and platform management (Amazon and Chewy).
• Proven success in managing and optimizing eCommerce platforms, product pages, and retail partner relationships.
• Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies that tie directly to business objectives.
• Strong understanding of digital shelf best practices (content optimization, variation management, reviews, etc.) on Amazon and Chewy.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI; Python a plus).
• Understanding of retail media and retail metrics, with the ability to apply them to evaluate performance and guide strategy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
