Role description
As an Amazon expert, this role will be responsible for achieving/exceeding sales plans through strategic development and implementation. It involves partnering with your Director, internal brand teams, finance, third party agencies, Amazon’s vendor support and collaborating closely with key distributors. Responsible for optimizing Amazon Media and all things advertising leveraging agency support when applicable, optimizing product listings, advertising campaigns, building business plans, leading performance analytics, and managing product content optimization. The role is specific to managing our Amazon accounts for both Vendor and Seller Central. Overarching Role Responsibilities Developing strategies β€’ In partnership with the Director, create and implement Amazon advertising marketing strategies to achieve/exceed Amazon sales targets, cross merchandising, media spend, and staying current on any Amazon new opportunities. β€’ In addition, this role will be responsible for analytics, assortment recommendations, customer profiling data, subscribe and save evolution, and identifying trends and opportunities, as well as the competitive landscape. Key Areas Customer Focus β€’ Monitor Customer Reviews, Feedback and any FAQs that present themselves β€’ Specially in case of adverse events that need proper scalation Listing Design & Management β€’ Develop strategic approach, Copy, Digital assets implementation, product description, A+ content and manage day to day brand store inquiries Backend Management β€’ Monitor any potential changes to Product description, stay current on backend optimizations, listing consolidations if appropriate and listing Uptime. Optimization β€’ Copy enhancements, assets conversion, meta data. Updating any digital assets as part of optimizing product pages. Reporting & Analytics β€’ Analytics sales reporting, performance details, advertising KPIs and any other data to help us compile insights to action and overall promotional and on ad + off ad performances (CPC, ROAS, CVR, impressions, etc). Constant monitoring of keywords search performance branded vs non-branded. Protection & Brand Registry β€’ Account monitoring and ongoing enforcements with support from team members. Manage transparency and any 3rd party brand protection needs. Ordering & Fulfillment β€’ Forecasting, inventory shipment to marketplace as needed, inventory optimization and consumer demand tracking. Managing campaigns β€’ Oversee and optimize advertising campaigns across Amazon platform advertising opportunities. β€’ Lead performance analytics to determine success and share out KPIs to corresponding stakeholders. Manage finance request submissions for MDF payment as well as campaign funding requests. Collaborate cross functionally, but also have the ability to work independently. Managing content β€’ Key for the success of this role: cross collaboration with other team members, specifically our brand teams, legal, regulatory, and product SMEs. In addition, partner with graphics lead and other external agencies to create, update, and monitor product content on Amazon for consistency. This will include developing content & promotional calendars and overseeing website uploads (site audits) and landing page development, as well as A+ product pages and enhanced PDPs alongside proper engagement analytics.
