Role description
SIMKHAI is seeking a results-driven E-commerce Operations Manager to lead and grow the business on Simkhai.com. This role will oversee all facets of the website strategy and execution, driving top-line revenue, optimizing site performance, and ensuring a seamless, on-brand digital experience. As a key cross-functional partner, this individual will oversee daily operations, digital innovation, and site functionality, while managing one direct report.
Key Responsibilities:
UX & Development
β’ Own the full site experience including navigation, UX/UI, and content strategy
β’ Implement new apps and technologies to enhance site functionality and relevancy
β’ Oversee site merchandising and product uploads to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and brand alignment
β’ Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve errors, broken links, or usability issues
β’ Leverage customer data to improve segmentation and deliver personalized digital experiences
β’ Manage external development partners and maintain a prioritized backlog of tech and UX improvements
β’ Develop and maintain a robust website testing and optimization roadmap
β’ Responsible for exploring and implementing the use of AI strategies to reduce workload and drive creativity and differentiated approach to digital marketing.
Operations
β’ Lead day-to-day management of the Shopify platform and digital storefront
β’ Monitor performance metrics and user behavior to drive improvements in conversion and engagement
β’ Oversee dropship partner strategy and ensure seamless execution
β’ Collaborate with retail teams to deliver an integrated, omni-channel customer experience
β’ Partner with Customer Service to enhance post-purchase experience and identify upsell opportunities
β’ Owning of the calendar and cross functional alignment and execution of the calendar
β’ Manage the direct mail program in alignment with broader e-commerce and marketing strategy
Financials & Analytics
β’ Own and manage the website P&L
β’ Drive the business to meet and exceed revenue and margin goals
β’ Create and analyze weekly/monthly KPI reports to inform business decisions
Creative & Content
β’ Partner with the Creative team to plan and execute all web assets and campaigns
β’ Ensure all content reflects brand identity, storytelling, and marketing objectives
Leadership & Management
β’ Manage and mentor one direct report, encouraging growth, collaboration, and accountability
β’ Set clear goals and performance metrics for the e-commerce channel
Qualifications:
β’ 7+ years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in fashion or luxury apparel
β’ Proven success managing and optimizing a Shopify-based site
β’ Strong understanding of digital analytics platforms and KPIs
β’ Experience executing high-impact product launches and merchandising strategies
β’ Skilled in balancing technical, creative, and operational priorities
β’ Deep knowledge of SEO, UX/UI best practices, and conversion rate optimization
β’ Passion for storytelling, customer experience, and brand-building
β’ Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial team environment with high autonomy
