Role description
We have partnered with a women's fashion brand who is in need of an e-Commerce Operations Specialist. This fashion brand has been celebrated for dressing some of the world's most influential women. The fashion collections, offer a clean, minimalist aesthetic, empowering women with versatility, style, and functionality. This is an opportunity to join a company on the rise, play a key role in its growth, and shape its e-commerce strategy. The role is 40 hours per week, 5 days onsite in River North, with a possibility to be converted to a full-time employee. The E-Commerce Operations Specialist Will Be Responsible For • Managing the day-to-day operations of Shopify, uploading product photographs, ensuring product descriptions, pricing, and images are accurate, entering metadata, analyzing and optimizing product performance • Conducting regular audits to the website to identify user experience, navigation, and usability issues • Updating product pages, banners, and promotional content to reflect current collections every 6-8 weeks in collaborations with designers and copywriters • Helping monitor and analyze site traffic, conversion rates, and weekly newsletter performance to inform strategies for improvement • Tracking engagement metrics, and optimizing performance of email campaigns The Ideal E-Commerce Operations Specialist Will Have • Shopify experience is required • Familiarity with tools like Klaviyo for newsletters or Google Analytics is a plus • Ability to gather and interpret data to drive actionable strategies • Fashion, luxury retail, or direct-to-consumer goods is a plus • Experience with paid advertsiting a plus (Meta, Google Ads) In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
