Ecommerce Product Optimisation Coordinator Marketplaces Location: Wilmslow - HYBRID WORKING £28,000 - £32,000 plus great benefits Excellent career progression opportunities Our client is a leading homewares company, supplying UK retailers. They now have an excellent opportunity for an Ecommerce Content / Product Optimisation Coordinator to join the hugely successful e-commerce arm of the business based in South Manchester. The online growth of the business has been transformational in recent years, and they are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their dynamic marketing and e-comm team to help them take this growth to the next level. Where does your role fit in? • This role is responsible for ensuring online product content execution is best in class. It’s not a digital/social media role – our client is looking for an e-comm content specialist to be the lynchpin between the e-comm and brand teams, driving excellent execution on e-comm marketplaces. • Playing a crucial role in enhancing online / e-comm presence, you will work with the team to curate, optimise and execute e-comm product listings across marketplaces, and ensure online content is launched right first time, on time. • Working closely with our e-comm / marketplace teams as well as brand and graphics, you will need to have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, to ensure the diverse range of product offerings are showcased effectively and consistently across all channels. • This is a fast-paced project management role with an online marketing underpinning. • Passionate about e-commerce, with your online (.com) retail experience you will have a clear view of ‘what good looks like’ for online imagery and copy. • With a relentless focus on optimisation and best practise, you will work with e-comm, brand and graphics to ensure that this is project-managed and brought to life effectively, across internal and external retail platforms. What will you need? • Exceptional project management skills. • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, you will want to leave your mark and make a difference. • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritise, with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills. • A natural eye for compelling online product marketing communication; able to distinguish what makes the difference between good and outstanding asset visuals and copy. • Instinctive understanding of brand guidelines, able to brief, assess and deliver creative and copy in a brand tone of voice, that delivers in an online retail environment. • Understanding of SEO best practices would be an advantage. • A relentless curiosity and motivation to stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and platform updates related to e-commerce content management and optimization.
