The eCommerce QA Intern/Temp supports the QA team to ensure that the company’s eCommerce and mobile app provide a reliable and secure shopping experience. This Temp will have a chance to learn and test new features, find defects and contribute ideas that improve the customer experience. • This is a 10+ week assignment, full time hours, On-site in Anaheim Office 4-5 days a week • A day in the life, what you’ll be doing: • Assist with basic manual testing tasks on web and mobile applications to identify obvious issues and document observations. • Help update and maintain simple test cases and checklists under guidance from the QA team. • Record and report bugs using a tracking system, including clear steps to reproduce each issue. • Participate in regression testing to verify that recent changes haven’t broken existing functionality. • Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and project managers to clarify requirements and communicate findings. • Learn and apply cross‑browser and mobile testing techniques to ensure consistency across different devices. • Support the team in gathering information for performance and security testing when needed. What it takes to Join: • Education: Pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Management, or related discipline. • Analytical skills & attention to detail: Able to identify patterns and anomalies in test results and think critically. • Communication skills: Clear verbal and written communication in English for documenting defects and collaborating with the team. • Collaboration & problem‑solving: Comfortable working in agile teams and willing to ask questions and share ideas. • Fundamental QA knowledge: Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies. • Understanding of e‑commerce platforms, payment gateways and order management systems. • Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira), test case management systems and cross‑browser testing tools. • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for inspecting web pages and identifying front‑end issues. • Understanding of user stories and software requirements. • Some experience or willingness to learn to identify and develop scenarios and test cases from user stories and software requirements. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
