GNC is seeking an experienced eCommerce Specialist, DTC to join our eCommerce Team based out of Pittsburg, PA. The ideal candidate is analytical, creative, and eager to help scale our DTC business by delivering an exceptional online shopping experience.
What You’ll Do:
This is a Full-Time Salary Position
The E-Commerce Specialist, DTC is responsible for driving online sales growth through effective digital merchandising strategies. This role supports site experience during new product launches, collections, and content updates across GNC.com to drive engagement and sales. They help optimize product placement, categorization of pages, supports seasonal storytelling and finds areas of opportunity to drive conversion. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and experience in e-commerce platforms.
• Create, manage, and optimize promotions, offers and upsells across GNC.com.
• Work with site experience team to merchandise effective seasonal and focus landing pages.
• Implement cross-sell and upsell strategies to increase average order value.
• Use A/B testing and site analytics to optimize layout and product placement.
• Support execution of online promotions, sales, and product launches.
• Coordinate with marketing teams to align banners, content, and featured products with promotional strategy.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics such as conversion rates, bounce rates, product views, and sales.
• Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to drive improvements in merchandising and site experience.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, buying, planning, creative, and development teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned product categories.
• Additional duties as assigned.
Environmental Factors & Working Schedule:
• Hybrid work environment, 2-3 days in-person attendance (Pittsburgh, PA) in addition to ability to work remotely.
• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear
• Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
• Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include long periods of computer screen usage, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.
• Experience with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, BigCommerce).
• Strong understanding of digital merchandising best practices and consumer behavior online.
• Proficiency with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities.
