Role Description
We’re looking for a sharp, data-driven Ecommerce Strategist to join our growing Shopify agency.
This isn’t a full-time CRO position. We already have a dedicated CRO team. Instead, this role is perfect for someone with CRO and funnel optimisation experience who now wants to use that expertise at a strategic level.
Clients on our support retainer plans don’t yet have the traffic or budget to run full-scale experimentation—your role is to make sure the hours they do invest in are used in the smartest, highest-impact way possible using your CRO and e-commerce knowledge.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned e-commerce professional who understands Shopify inside out, can analyse data quickly, and translate insights into clear, actionable strategies that help brands grow.
Location: Remote, UK-based.

What you'll be doing:
You’ll be embedded in our retainer team, making sure every client gets the maximum value from their plan.
• Run strategy and onboarding calls with clients (alongside account managers).
• Analyse e-commerce performance data and proactively recommend improvements.
• Use CRO and funnel optimisation experience to guide clients—even when full split testing isn’t possible.
• Suggest and prioritise strategic changes for websites, landing pages, and funnels.
• Create quarterly roadmaps to ensure retainer hours are always used on the highest-value work.
• Provide training sessions for our AMs, designers, and developers to spread strategic best practice across the agency.
• Act as a client success partner—ensuring clients feel supported, see results, and stay excited about working with us.
• Contribute to leadership conversations and help shape how we deliver value at scale.
What we're looking for:
• Solid background in e-commerce strategy, CRO, and funnel optimisation.
• Ability to diagnose site performance issues using GA4, heatmaps, and other tools.
• Experience optimising landing pages and writing copy that converts.
• Understanding of how media buying and traffic generation tie into overall e-commerce performance.
• Strong communicator - comfortable leading calls, trainings, and workshops.
• A proven track record of helping e-commerce brands grow (7–8 figures+ ideal).
Agency experience is a bonus, but not required.
