About the Role
KESTIN, a modern menswear brand designed and developed in Scotland, is looking for a commercially-driven Ecommerce Trading Manager to take full ownership of our online sales performance.
This is a standalone role in a lean but growing team. You’ll have direct influence over strategy, digital marketing, and customer experience — and the freedom to make a real impact from day one.
If you thrive in a creative, entrepreneurial environment and love turning data-driven insights into measurable growth, this could be your next big move.
Key Responsibilities
Website Trading & Online Performance
• Own the digital sales strategy and budget, working towards revenue, margin, and retention targets.
• Plan and execute online promotions in line with trade and marketing calendars.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance, extract insights, and make recommendations.
• Manage site updates and improvements in collaboration with third-party developers and internal teams.
• Support the ecommerce roadmap and testing, focusing on optimising UI/UX and site functionality.
• Collaborate with the retail and design teams on seasonal line planning, re-orders, and stock efficiency.
Digital Marketing & CRM
• Develop and manage CRM strategies across email, SMS, and loyalty programmes.
• Oversee performance of the digital marketing agency and media planning.
• Collaborate with creative teams to deliver campaigns, content, and paid social activity.
• Optimise customer acquisition costs and drive profitable traffic.
• Shape brand ambassador, influencer, and affiliate strategies in partnership with the creative team.
Customer Experience
• Continuously improve mobile and desktop UX to drive conversions.
• Analyse customer behaviour and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Liaise with customer service to ensure a seamless end-to-end online journey.
Operations & Fulfilment
• Line manage the Online Fulfilment Warehouse Assistant.
• Conduct regular test orders and system checks to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
Commercial & Strategic Input
• Contribute to broader business planning and direction.
• Provide clear reporting and insights to inform decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• 5+ years of experience in ecommerce, growth marketing, or digital retail (fashion industry preferred).
• Expertise in Shopify, Klaviyo, and Shopify-integrated tools such as Zedonk.
• Strong commercial awareness and data-driven decision making.
• Proven ability to manage performance marketing campaigns and digital budgets.
• Experience working across internal departments and with external agencies.
• Highly organised, adaptable, and proactive problem-solving skills.
• A keen interest in menswear and brand-building.
• Confidence leading a team and contributing at strategic level.
• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Availability to work from the Edinburgh studio at least 4 days per week.
Benefits
• 30 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays)
• Hybrid working (Fridays from home)
• Penfold pension scheme
• Generous staff discount
