Role description
Position Summary:
The Vendor Integrations Onboarding Specialist will assist management in communicating with vendors, determining how to integrate and connect them to our software, reviewing and providing feedback on their catalog files, and then assisting with mapping these files and setting up the vendors in our system. We already have the software in place to integrate with any vendor, optimize every order, and support multi-channel operations. We will teach you our software.
Responsibilities:
• Integrate and onboard various vendors and suppliers. The goal is to integrate our multiple vendors' products into our e-commerce system and enable the placement of orders using our current software.
• Integrate quantities and costs across our fulfillment sources for a single view of our distributed inventory.
• Automate and optimize our dropship and in-house distributed fulfillment operations.
• Set up vendors so we can easily list and price products across multiple channels from one central catalog.
• Exchange inventory and orders by automatically importing or sending FTP, email, direct HTTP link, or EDI/API.
• Integrate inventory quantities, costs, and more across our warehouse, store, and dropship partners for a single view of inventory using our current software.
• Use our current software to automate and optimize order routing to our warehouse, store, and dropship partners by real-time costs, location, and item metadata.
• Set up routing rules, optimize order fulfillment by location, cost, warehouse/supplier preference, weight, and other attributes.
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software such as Excel and Google Sheets.
• Open to learning and using new software platforms.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to track, manage, and drive email conversations with potential vendors.
• Ability to proactively move projects forward rather than wait for external parties to reply.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with any of these platforms is a plus: LogicBroker, Duoplane, Channel Advisor, Flxpoint, Cin7, SPS Commerce, coding experience
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years’ e-commerce experience.
• 3+ years’ working with software that integrates suppliers and vendors.
