Job Summary: This role is responsible for implementing email marketing strategies and targeted marketing campaigns. The Marketing Manager will analyze demand generation campaigns in a variety of outbound marketing channels including email and direct mail to support campaigns, product promotions, customer notifications and nurture campaigns based on business priorities and customer goals. Key Responsibilities • Lead cross-functional messaging planning meetings. • Own Master Marketing Calendar and project management tool to support campaign workflow. • Manage end-to-end execution of email campaigns: creation, testing, deploying, optimizing and reporting on campaigns. • Support the development of marketing briefs and audience messaging frameworks. • Partner with the Creative Team to develop assets for feature and targeted campaigns. • Perform QA on all emails, ensuring accuracy in content, links, imagery and segmentation. • Monitor and report on campaign performance; provide insights to stakeholders and leadership. • Design and execute A/B tests to drive continuous improvement. • Defines and improves email metrics, looking for new ways to automate, scale, and innovate • Develop lifecycle marketing strategies, including awareness, conversion, engagement and retention. • Leverage behavioral data to execute advanced segmentation using specialized triggers and personalization. • Enhance and track email KPIs; seek opportunities for automation and innovation. • Stay current on email marketing trends, compliance, and competitive landscape. • Develops, maintains, and fosters relationships with internal stakeholders, including participating in meetings, engaging in discussions, and working across various teams; manages the relationship and progress of agency partners • Evaluates emerging customer relationship building trends and determines their role in marketing initiatives Additional Responsibilities • Manage product content setup and maintenance including item categorization, detail edits, and image imports (Salsify experience preferred). • Align seasonal messaging with the Horticulture and Social teams. • Lead SMS marketing efforts, from implementation to planning through execution and reporting. • Manage promotional activities in Magento, including coupon setup and banner creation; ensure timely communication to relevant teams. • Execute dynamic landing pages, loyalty programming support and advanced audience segmentation. • Support Farmer’s Market marketing initiatives. • Provide strategic insights through market research and competitive analysis. • Support customer segmentation and direct mail strategies, including loyalty initiatives. • All other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or higher • 5+ years developing integrated marketing campaigns • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently • Experience developing and executing consumer marketing plans based on business objectives and campaign goals • Experience with executing target audience segmentation strategies • Experience with directing the relationship, funding, and project contributions of marketing agencies • Knowledge of best practices in B2C demands generation, marketing automation, lead conversion and nurturing programs • Hands-on experience with an ESP and project management software.
